Remarks

If you want to study engineering, it is a decent college with high chance of getting placed in a software company. It is tier 2 college with good facilities. Overall the experience is not bad. The only bad thing is that it is extremely strict.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is formulated by Anna University. The exams are conducted by Anna University and the evaluation of answer scripts are done centrally by Anna University. The results are also declared by Anna University.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college brings major IT companies for placements. Around half of the students get placed in such companies while few get placed in core companies. If you follow the placement activities that the college provides, you will be able to get placed in a reputed IT company.

College Events

4

The college celebrates major festivals like Deepavali, Pongal, Christmas, etc. The major events include Intra and Inter department symposium, Sports Day, Symposium for other college students and events like teacher's day celebrations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is slightly higher than other colleges. If you get admission through Anna University counselling, you will be paying around 8 to 9 lakhs in total for the 4 years which includes food, transportation and hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not provide any scholarships or loan facilities. It coordinates the central government scholarship scheme for counselling students and also supports first graduate scholarship programme.

Campus Life

3

The college has rich sports facilities. A lot of sports students join this college and they have won a lot of championship at Anna University levels. The labs are sufficient which meet the general standards set by the education board.

Alumni/Alumna

I am not part of any alumni network but there is an alumni network for the college and it is active with a lot of alumni. There are alumni in multiple parts of the world who are working in various reputed companies.

Admission

I applied in Anna University counselling and chose this college in the counselling process. You can also get admission through management quota. I got admission through government quota. There is no exam for management quota

Faculty

3

All the faculties of the college have done post graduation and most faculties have experience in teaching in engineering domain. There are only very few faculty members who are new to teaching. The process of hiring a new faculty is rigorous.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
