Remarks
Positive about the college is good infrastructure, good bus facility for the days scholar student,secure hostel facility, anti ragging commity for the fresher students. Negative about the college is not offering the holiday as instructed by the state government.
Course Curriculum Overview
The candidate has to choose TWO open elective courses during the period of study, i.e ONE course in the 6th semester of the programme and SECOND course in the 7th semester of the programme.In the TWO open elective courses to be opted and studied, ONE course should be from the open elective courses offered by the parent department and OTHER course should be from the open elective courses offered by the other department.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are good and many student ate get placed in the 7th semester itself. The student with no backlog are placed initially and the student with backlogs are place at the 8th semester of the course. Internship is offered in the college permises itself.
College Events
Astra is an inter college cultural meet,it is conducted each year. Pecma is an sympo event for 1st year students,conducted every year.techfinix is an sympo event for 2nd, 3rd and final year student,conducted every Year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the student with more cutoff or more mark, the institution provide them an 80% scholarship. The student joined through the government quota have to pay the fee that is approved and released by the state government
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is available to the student by their community and the amount is credited to their bank account. Loan process is not offered by college. It is done by the student individually by self.students are more comfortable to pay fee because of their scholarship.
Campus Life
College has many club for the welfare of student.ie, NSS ,NCC, etc. Lab are maintained in average manner. The institution has more lab according to their department. the institution promote sport in an excellent way. For the past few year it rank anna university best sportsmanship.
Hostel Facilities
Seperate hostel for 1st year ,2nd and 3rd year students, final year students, sports quota students. Each room can be occupied by 4 students. These hostel blocks are identified by different names. Girls hostel are occupied by all girl students (ie. Sports students and studentfrom 1st to final year)
Alumni/Alumna
The college will conduct an guest lecture for each department separately. The guest they invite for the guest lecture are the alumini students. They will share their experience about thier job and they will motivate students. Passed out student are in contact with their juniors always. They are helping in the junior projects too,by sharing their ideas
Admission
By the help of counselling quota offered by the State government. it is something that, the college are selected by student according to their Secondary mark obtained by the student in the board exam conducted by the state government
Faculty
Not all are experienced staff, some faculties are newly appointed and working as an assistant professor.the head of the department faculties are completed their P.hD degree in their subject of willing.
