Remarks

The management of the college is good the provided all required infrastructure to the students from equipped class room to labs.

Entrance Preview

During our time there was no entrance exam required to join Economics (H), the admission was Purely merit based. I has chosen this college as it was near to my place as well the faculty of the college is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I found the course curriculum very difficult. Very vast and tough syllabus, but the course is very popular with great career opportunity to it demand a lot of hard work too. So i prepared my own notes which helped me a lot in successfully completing this course.

Internships Opportunities

No, this is the sad part that college does not provide any internship to the students, but it try to give all practical experience to the students by conducting several seminars from time to time, as well as career expos were regularly conducted.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college has a separate placement cell, any student from any course can enroll himself in the same. Several MNC's come to the college every year and employ students directly. The minimum salary package during our time was 2.4 lacs per annum and many students from my class itself got absorbed.

College Events

5

The college try to develop all the aspects of students life by organising college annual fest as well as annual sports meet, several cultural events. Apart from this economics and commerce department jointly organise pareto.com annual economic fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was quite reasonable being a government college fee structure is not very high it was Rs.6500 per annum and exam fee of rs.50 per subject plus Rs20 extra for practical subjects which is very easy for the students from economically weaker section to continue higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the do give scholarship to merit holders each year scholarship amount of Rs.1200-1500 is given to the students also special scholarships are given the students of economically weaker section.

Campus Life

4.5

This is a co-education college hence both boys as well as girls took admission in the college the college treats both boys and girls equally i.e, each student's gets an equal opportunity to showcase their talent students itself arrange all the activities apart from that college has girls common room and women cell which takes care of all the cases against sexual harassment etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

The college does not has any hostel facility but the college is located in the prime location of raja garden new delhi, hence finding a accommodation near the college is very easy. There are several P.G. and girls hostels are available near the college ca

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of the college are very cooperative they always helped the juniors whenever required their attitude makes the college campus very friendly.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is neither very hectic nor chilled out university divides the exams equally sufficients leaves were given between the exams during our time there was not semester system so internal exam were held in january and finals in june internal exam

Faculty

5

The college faculty is very knowledgeable with years of experience they used to explain the well, also always readily available to help the students outside the classroom. Which really helped me in learning the concepts of economics well and as a result o

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
