Remarks

It is easy to understand the infrastructure of the college by the mere fact that it is a deemed university now. The location is one of the major advantages, just outskirts of Delhi, in addition to good facilities, a very good staff and an approachable pri

Entrance Preview

The admission is through Haryana state level common entrance test in which I had scored enough to get admission in to computer science. The admission process is the standard process being followed across state colleges in Haryana.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There were the standard streams is electronics, mechanical, computer science, electrical engineering and architecture. The subjects were standards with hardly any electives in the same stream.

Internships Opportunities

Internship and placements were 2 challenge areas for this college at that time. I am sure the situation would have improved now. The internship was mostly arranged on individual basis or through references.

Placement Experience

3

I think only 2-3 companies had visited the campus that time. These were TCS, Wipro and CMC as far as I can remember. I think approx. 40% only were placed through campus.

College Events

4

College had a newsletter for technical information sharing. It held annual fest that was also sending invites to nearby colleges to participate in the cultural competitions. Sports day was celebrated on a large scale and teams were sent out to participate in events organized by other colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college being state run that time was not very expensive when it comes to fee structure. I would have completed my degree in less than 1 lakh rupees in 1997. I am not sure about now.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no loan facility that I am aware of. With respect to scholarship there might be state level sponsorship that I am not aware of.

Campus Life

3

The infrastructure was good. The labs were new with mostly all equipment being available in adequate numbers for all the students to study and experiment. The computer lab was newly built and was great experience. It used to be open during night as well. Other labs were also good. The college had a very large grounds for various sports. The college was organizing various events at intra-college and state levels.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

As far as I remember, there were adequate number of hostel rooms and these were individual rooms without sharing. The rooms were good sized and with enough lighting and air. The toilets were always short in number. The mess was large in size but the food

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were helping if not very helping. 1993 was the last batch that had to go through the trauma of ragging, post that the college authorities were very strict against it and they used to have surprise checking every now and then to safeguard new students.

Exam Structure

Exams were adequately placed and we never thought that we were always busy or always chilling out. so I think they were good.

Faculty

4

This college had good faculty, not only in terms of number of staff but also the knowledge and skill of the staff. Being a state college the faculty was good and knowledgeable and approachable.

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
