Remarks

College is one of the best college in Karnataka and college has been ranked among top 10 in Karnataka and has been awarded by many awards, college has received award in national level too. And it has been ranked 128th in national level

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is little bit difficult as our college is autonomous and we have internals and semester end exams. Two internals which is of 20 Marks each and 10 marks assignment and we should have avg. of 20 to be eligible to write the semester end exam

Placement Experience

4.5

Selection of students for placement is based on the grade of students in exam and lot of companies come for placement. And college provides opportunity for internship during holidays and provide valid certification of internship. And the salary of students who get placed depends on the companies

College Events

There are many events in our college and they are all crazy and students have lot of fun during it. One big fest of our college os incridea and it will be once a year where there will be games the many competitions and cultural events, DJ nights etc etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. It depends on the marks scored by students in the 12th exams and the different entrance exams for the first year students. And the fees remains same for rest four years. Management students fees depends on their 12th marks

Fees and Financial Aid

As i know college doesn’t offer any loan facility but scholarships are available for students based on their marks and there and many other scholarships for students offered by government where students get lot of benefits

Campus Life

4.5

We have lot of extracurricular activities, we have sports day every year, where students participate and win prizes. And college allows students to represent our college in many other sports competitions and many other events held in different college like dance competition singing competition etc

Alumni/Alumna

I don’t know about alumni network but our senior students are very kind and helpful. They support others in everything, they are very good and they will be Guiding juniors in every situation. They help them during exams and any other things related to college

Admission

I got my seat through the entrance exam and first we had to write the exam then after the selection we got a call from college and we had to submit all our documents to college and we paid fees and and other procedures were done by the institute

Faculty

4.5

Faculty of our college is really good and they teach very well and all the faculty are student friendly and and all lectures help students alot to get good marks and solve their doubts by teaching them in easy way

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.
