Remarks

All Good, at least from my Heart, no biasness here. I am thankful to KMC to give admission to me. will always do things for its betterment.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is the best and just as being from university of delhi , my course is a theory specific - designed especially for the Civil Services and other Exams , yepp i beleive that this course if i complete with it full heart , will lead me to a better individual.

Placement Experience

4

last year as I came to know from senior students the high number of companies visited our college for the purpose of recruiting deserving students as they do each year. The college includes reputed brands like Delloite, Intel etc.

College Events

5

Yes, now came my favourite topic of discussion, the things for which DU is known for ie. societies and fests. These run probably every month, this and that society comes up with a technical or cultural fest. I myself is a member of the National Service Scheme(NSS). Which too organises cultural event known as Ashayein. Our annual college fest RENAISSANCE recorded a footfall of 50K+ last year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My Program fee is a legitimate one considering the status and ranking of my college and the facilities provided by it. My fee is around 15 thousand per year which is very less compared to private college charging in lacs, the fee for other colleges of du and other courses is around the same with ranging from 15-30K per year. all modes are accepted .and also provides a fee - breakdown chart on its site

Fees and Financial Aid

though our College does not provide any direct scholarship to its students there are two scholarships for which I applied, these are, 1. Fee concession up to 50% 2. Central Scholarship for CBSE students amounting to Rs 10000 per year for 3 years.

Campus Life

4.5

no need to say about this, you will find the best of the things here in KM college, 22 societies the most in Delhi university. gender equality is there. Events are there all day all year .you will not get bored surely. proper dance clubs and a large ground for all sports, what else and an elite crowd. what else you need.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni wow, this is for what the du colleges are known for from prime minister to ministers, buerocrates , top sportsmen, actors all graduated from either colleges. this is what we carry as pride everywhere we go as kirorians .

Admission

I always wanted to take admission in Delhi University, and getting into north campus was a dream came the true moment for me, coming to the point of choosing the course, I choose Bachelor Of arts because I wanted to explore some more after passing 12th from a medical background. I give me a lot of time for preparing for other exams. Kirori Mal College was my only college of choice because of Amitabh Bacchan Ji. the Admission procedure was a little tense especially while calculating the best of four percentage but the staff was very kind and all of this took around 2 hours.

Faculty

4.5

Yaa, the lecturers are very well qualified, they are all PhD's and hold the expertise of around 20-25 years, for example, my economics professor holds an experience of 28 years, very good in teaching and elaborates the topic in the best possible way. the number of lectures in a month is around 22 lectures.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
