Remarks

The ANDC is a unique college with no internal politics and a lovely environment with so supportive and encouraging faculty. There are several committees for discipline, sexual harassment and other issues. There are no cases of ragging or misbehaviour.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The theory of learning is very brief and detailed. And the practicals are really problem-specific. The practical also includes various computer languages. There are several societies in which new ideas are more than welcomed. There are societies for optics, robotics and physics. The fund is given by the college and various trips are also held to different research labs.

Placement Experience

4

The companies like TCS, Wipro Ltd, Infosys and other tech companies visited the campus. The general steps were written exam followed by a technical interview and selected candidates had an HR interview at the end. From our batch around, 20-25 students got placements and the companies were also funding further education.

College Events

5

The college organised several talks, conferences and festivals to promote technologies and their fields. The department of electronics organised competitions like robot race and mobile games challenge for entertainment purpose. Students from different colleges also participated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is very feasible as the college is a part of the Delhi University organisation and it's a govt college so the fees structure is based on the idea that every student can afford a cheap but quality education. The college accepted online mode of payment. There are no additional charges apart from the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers various scholarships to financially challenged students. The students who are good in studies and want to opt for higher education. The procedure was an interview conducted by the authority. And the college provided 30000-50000 annually.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is a complete balance between classes and fun. The fresher party, sports day, departmental fests, Diwali Mela, fests of different societies are some of the celebrated occasions for the students to feel refreshed in mid of the hectic schedule. The environment is very modern and safe. The girls can feel completely and there are no restrictions on clothes.

Alumni/Alumna

The teachers help us to get in touch with the alumni if we have any questions to ask. The Alumni day is also celebrated on the second Sunday of the month of Feb every year. On the alumni day, students are invited to interact with the alumni students and get to know about their course more.

Admission

I have opted for electronics because I have always wanted to study machines and gadgets and this course is a combination of theory and practical. The college is one of the best science colleges of Delhi University and it has the best practical labs and faculty. The admission procedure is really simple. Just fill the forms for D.U and wait for the list to come out.

Faculty

5

The no. of classes per subject is 4 in a week and 4 hours of practical lab. There is total of 26 subjects in 3 year of the course. The lecturers are well experience with maturity and a unique way of teaching. They used presentations as well as hand written methods to teach. Several doubt classes are also held by the teachers weeks before exams.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
