Remarks

My experience with the college is over all good. One negative that come to my mind is that during election classes gets disturbed. Apart from this there was not much negative experiences that I faced during my days.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

All the colleges under University of Delhi follows the course and examination as per the rules set the university. So this college is also followed the same. The course curriculum was divided into three 3 years graduation program.Egg year was followed by an internal examination and an external examination. However at present the system has changed to semester system so overall course is divided into 6 semester of 6 months each.

Placement Experience

4

Talking about placements and internships, the college has its own placement cell as well as students can apply in the placement cell created by the university of Delhi.Yes, it's true that students may not find a very highly paid job offer just after graduation from the placement cell but every year renowned companies do offer placement.Internship is there in the college though the stipend will be less.

College Events

4.5

Now talking about the cultural, sports and technical events, the college authorities provides many opportunities for overall development of the students. The college regularly organise annual cultural fest, students volunteer the whole event in a broad way.Apart from the has a huge sports group where it organize annual sports meet. Not only that each and every society comprised of Economic and commerce society, science society organises it's own fests. The cultural society of the college is very well known in the whole university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is as per the university rules, as it's a part of govt.university so the fee is not much.Approximately Rs.10k-12k per semester, which is quite feasible. As as per the revised fee there is around 20 percent fee hike.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship and loan facility are available for students with requirement.Banks easily gives loan for the students. Also college offers scholarship for the students based on an internal test.Scholarship offers about 50 per cent rebate in fee.

Campus Life

4

The college is fully versed with all labs i.e., Physics, chemistry and biology labs for sciences, geography lab for social sciences, maths lab for mathematics society.Home science lab, etc. Also the cultural society has a lab.Library is very well versed with long range of books.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The college doesn't have it's own hostel facility, however in nearby place just besides the college many PG's are available easily for both boys and girls with safely and other amenities. So it not a difficulty in finding a suitable place for outstation students.

Alumni/Alumna

The college organise alumni meet every year where they facilitates the outstanding achievers. This event gives a good opportunity to meet old batch mates, it's like an reunion with friends and family.

Admission

This college comes under Delhi University, so admission in any discipline is based on the rules of the university. As far as my discipline/course is concerned, it was purely based on the merit list i.e., marks obtained in class XII in any recognised school.

Faculty

5

The college has excellent faculty, fully versed with all sort of knowledge and experience. They support each and every student in all possible way.I remember when I was struggling in one subject in 2nd year, my lecturer took all the pain to sit with me individually to clarify all my doubts.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
