The course curriculum is very well organized. they make the best in what they organize. They have appointed the best teaching faculty. So they complete the given curriculum in time in the best way .so it makes us understand best and do the best in our exams.

As per the previous year's view, the placement are pretty good there are lot of improvements in this point.

They are many events celebrated in our college a national level tech fest called VERTECHX is celebrated every even sem where students from various outside colleges take part which is mostly based on the technical part. and a cultural event called swayam is also conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per the college fee, it is to costly. We are charged a 50k of extra fee every year apart from the normal government fee that is cet fee.which is not affordable to the students. We are supposed to pay the fee at a time in starting of the year there are no fee break down

Basically the scholarship are based on cast, category and annual income of the student.there are different scholarships for different students.

Campus Life

The campus is really very cool place to learn things with beautiful infrastructure and very well maintained cleanliness. we are exposed and given chances to take part in many extracurricular activities held by our college. The lab are well maintained with new technology.

Our seniors also help us / juniors in improving our knowledge by sharing what they have learned and had experience through conducting workshops.

I was interested in mathematics stream and also i was good in it may of fathers colleague children have completed their graduation in this college and i have completed my PUC in this college so i knew about it, Since it was Near to my home my parents told me give a major preference to it so i could save lot of time by skipping the traveling part.

There are almost 40 faculty in our electronics and communication department of mvj college. Who are the best in their knowledge and have good teaching experience. Students are free to consult them any time to clarify their doubts are to seak any kind of help required.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging
Food is very good and feels like a restaurant

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
