Admission

Admission Process: -Students who have cleared JEE Mains are eligible for my college admission -Along with JEE, one should clear their respective State 12th class - Different cutoff for different sections of people will be considered based on their caste - Upon clearing JEE Mains, One should apply for the NIT's and IIIT's you are interested in. - You need to apply branchwise in their portal - You will be given a college based on the seat availability, Rank, demand for that course etc. - There were five rounds for seat allocation - For each round you can either lock your college or wait for another round. - Till round 3, you will have an option to wait for another round. - After Third Round, you have to choose whatever college was given to you based on your rank - Once You got to know your college name you need to go to that for further process of admission - During admission you need to submit all the required proofs like your JEE Mains Rank card, 12th class mark sheet, TC, Study Certificate, caste and income certified, 40000 rs worth DD and etc. - Then they will provide you with a temporary ID - You have to proceed for Hostel admission too and there they will give us a room no and hostel name. - Here, in my college i have an opportunity to change my department which is called Internal Sliding. - If any of seats in your preferred branch got vacates, then there is a chance for you to get that seat. - I got Metallurgical and Material Science first but due to Internal Sliding, I got Instrumentation and control Engineering Preference of Branch: Initially I got Metallurgical and Material Science, which is related to chemical and mines which I am not interested in. An later due to my luck I got a seat in Instrumentation and Control Engineering Department which related to Sensors, Control Systems and other electronics

Faculty

4.5

Faculty are qualified enough for the course But if the syllabus updates to the latest topics and technology then the faculty should also be updated with latest course. Some of the faculty are not updated with latest technology. They always follow the old presentations while teaching to students. Professors are not interactive at all. If the syllabus doesn't complete before the semester exams, they ask students to do self study which makes student not clear about the topics. Professors always look for Technical papers which need to be presented in some conference. So if we are interested to do some project, they are always welcomes us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
