Remarks

The environment is so good that it never feels like one is in a college. The teaching staff being good and the process being easy one can always opt for a college like Wilson College and students have always ensured to keep the image strong in the competition around the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Some days are hectic where we need to focus on studies as well as outdoor events in other colleges. Other days the staff itself is interested in teaching students good values and they are always looking forward to learn new things everyday

Placement Experience

4.5

My college does provide internship facilities which include many corporate sector companies and high profile firms. Its upon the student to choose whether he or she is interested in working with the companies offered.

College Events

The college holds many events in a academic year depending upon the students will to do a fest at the best possible way. Participating in these fests is quite easy because all you need to submit is the ID card of the college you belong to and you can participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible. FYBMS-16000 SYBMS-17680 TYBMS-18000 These are the fees for the course i have opted other courses fee structure can be seen on the wilson college website. Enquiry of fees can be done also by visiting the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college provides with various scholarships and loan facilities. I havent availed any but you can if you wish to its not that tough and secondly there are no frauds included in these scholarships offered.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender Ratio is 3:1 approx There is no discrimination on race gender economic status as such but yes if anyone feels so one can contact the principal asap to get the good things by your way. The crowd being good in the college it feels way better to go to this college.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students having a good knowing about the system always try to keep people safe and also ensure if anyone has any trouble making the most of oneself they do help you. Seniors are always there do help in any way you want.

Admission

I got admission according to the merit list selection done by the college through the Mumbai University Portal making it easy to grab my information needed easily through the information provided by me on the portal.

Faculty

The qualifaction of the faculty is quite good and they are always looking forward to ensure all students learn each and every thing perfectly without loosing the excitement to study. This type of environment makes students healthy mentally as well as physically

Proud to be a part of claras college

Likes

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.
The campus infrastructure is excellent, featuring modern labs, a well-stocked library, and great sports facilities.
Placement opportunities are robust, with many top-tier companies visiting the campus for recruitment every year.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

Wilson College: An Honest Review

- I had confirmed admission from St. Xavier's and Sophia's. I applied to Xavier's and Sophia's because of how renowned they were for their course and extra curricular activities - I did not go to Xavier's as I didn't get my preferred subjects. I didn't opt for Sophia's because I thought Wilson would be better. however, I came to regret my decision soon after. - the admission is pretty simple for undergraduate courses. They consider your 12th grade marks and seats are alloted based on merit. There is also a Christian quota with a relatively lower cutoff than general. The gernal cutoff in Wilson is usually 90-95% for the first merit list. Whereas the first merit list cutoff for Christian quota is 80-85%....Read More

Wilson - A place to be at

The admission is done on the basis of marks secured in Class 12th. You need to have a minimum of 60% in 12th grade (The eligibility criteria differs from stream to stream i.e., Commerce, Science, and Arts). The dates for admission forms and the process is updated on their college website. You have to pre-register with Mumbai University. The college fee is reduced exponentially if you belong to a minority community. From 2022-23, Wilson College is getting an autonomous status. So, a lot of processes is going to get easier and more streamlined....Read More
