Remarks

I will give an overall positive remark. Facilities from labs to faculties are all good. Faculties are supportive. You get many different opportunity in form of clubs. Just fee is little too much. Otherwise college is quite good. From environment to studies. Its all good.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course structure is good. What you learnt in a semester is used in the next semester. Like in computer science case, in first semester we learn basic c, then in next semester we learn data structures, in the next semester implementing those data structure we learn design and analysis of algorithms. so, it forms a kind of chain.

Placement Experience

2.5

In first year you will have Industrial visit to 5 different industry. In second year you will have to do a compulsory 2 month of internship. In this internship college will help students find internship. Some are paid, some are not. You will graded on the basis of the feedback by the industry mentor which will be added in your fifth semester marks. In Fourth year, one full semester that is last semester(8th semester) is an internship one. You have to search an internship your yourself in this one.

College Events

2.5

The main cultural event is 67th milestone. There are many events in this. This is a cultural as well as technical festival. Events in technical includes Robo wars, line follower robot competition, hackathon, etc. Event in non technical includes fashion show, dance cometition, face painting competition, etc. There are many colleges participating in this. for in campus student events are at minimal cost. Battle of bands is also a prestigious competition held during this event. There are many small events that last a day or two happening every month. naming some will be cultural events during convocation, then an NGO savera event for children, and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive. Tuition fee is 3,13,000 per year. That will be divided into per semester and fees will be taken. This does not include your hostel charges which are also high, currently it is 65,000 per year. Laundry and mess charges are 60,000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

You get scholarship on the basis of your marks in 12th and your rank in JEE mains, which can be up to 75% of the fees. Scholarships does not include mess and laundry charges. You will have to pay full of mess and laundry charges. When you fill the form during admission then you will get the amount of scholarship you can get, that will be either 0 or 25 or 50 or 75% of tuition fee. I have not taken loan so i don't know much about that. But i have seen there are a few banks that offer loan on the day of your arrival in the college when you are having your document verification.

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are extremely well in the college. There is a clean room which has many different research instruments placed there. In case of labs there is a separate whole building which is known as workshop among the students which has many different instruments that are required for mechanical engineering students. There are many computer labs in the teaching buildings of the college. There are also labs for civil as well as ece students that are also well equipped.

Hostel Facilities

2

There are two different types of hostels offered. One is apartment style, another one is tower style. In apartment style few rooms are clubbed together to form an apartment. In tower separate rooms are there. There are single occupancy, double occupancy and triple occupancy option in both tower and apartment. Rooms are comfortable.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year there is an alumni meet in which alumni come and meet all the students which are placed in different companies. You can meet the alumni and ask any question regarding the placement opportunity they got, how they got placed, they also help in getting an internship or a job offer in the company that they are currently placed.

Admission

I heard about this college from a friend. Let me describe the admission process in steps: Step 1: You to the Bml munjal website(https://www. bmu. edu. in/) and fill out the admission form. In this form you will be asked to fill out your personal details and upload your certificates. Step 2: BMU will review all the application and shortlist the candidates. Short listed candidates will be contacted via mail and an sms is also sent on their registered mobile number. Step 3: Short listed candidates are then called for interviews. You can go to college campus for interview or various locations all over India which college says. In my case i gave my personal interview via Skype which is also an option for giving personal interview. A professor from the college takes your interview which lasts for around 5-20 mins. they ask you few basic questions about you and then they asks few technical questions. Answer whatever you know and if you don't know then you can tell them that you don't know. they will ask something else. Step 4: Then your overall application with your interview score is evaluated. Selected candidates after this process are sent via email that you are selected or not. Then you are given a deadline to submit a fee that is of first semester with admission fee. Step 5: When you pay the fee and on the first day of college document verification takes place in the college where you have to show your original certificates. After this process you are student of the college. I chose CSE(Computer Science and Engineering) due to my own personal interest. It is a good field if you want to learn both the software and hardware component of the computer.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty here are good. They are all qualified. Most of them are Phd. If you want to check abut them you can go directly on the website and check every professor qualification. I will tell some professors are really good. They understand your situation. When you approach them for project or asking for a help or any doubts they help you in all the way possible.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.
