Remarks

Everything I found in my college is fine and excellent for me. I am missing my college days now.

Course Curriculum Overview

Part of the curriculum is pre-planned and well organised. Other than training and studies related to course curriculum we also had other extracurricular learning activities starting from spoken English to programming classes which made me a better professional guy. Semester wise one Industrial Visits had been organised for us.

Class Size: 130Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

All the top 15 companies in the industry will visit our college for placement. General steps are all the eligible students will appear for the initial screening and selected ones will be allowed to appear for the final process.

College Events

Symposiums for each course will be conducted every semester. And each year we will have Achievers day for each department in which extraordinary performers will be appreciated and awarded based on the activities they carried out on that academic year starting from studies, marks as well as extracurricular activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I am coming through government counselling quota I don't have any additional management fees. I did have only academic turion fees and exam fees. Our college provides excellent transparency in the fees structure. There are additional charges which are for contributing to the individual expenses in Industrial Visits and other symposiums.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed TamilNadu government educational loan for all four years of my course duration. On an average of two lakh and fifty thousand, I got as a loan.

Campus Life

In my department, the gender ratios are of 50:50. There are multiple extracurricular activities carried out in my college like programming, aptitude training, spoken English, interpersonal skills development, professional mannerism improvement which students can opt based on their interest.

Alumni/Alumna

We are having an excellent Alumni network in our college. We are having a website for alumni and WhatsApp group with professors for each batch of students.

Admission

I got the admission through the government counselling process. I took Electrical and Electronics Engineering as I loved it since my childhood. I chose the college as it provided the best placement among the most colleges in our area and the fees structure also reasonable compared to other institutions.

Totally in my course, to my knowledge around 55 lectures were there starting from lab technician and assistant to Head of the department. 80 percentage of the lecturers are mostly aged between 29 to 40. And also in the lecturers around 10 are industry experienced.

Calm and Student-Friendly at DMI College of Engineering

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
