My view on the college

I think our college need to focus on bringing more placments rather then trying to bring more students. Due to many BE colleges in Bangalore small city colleges like ourselves are overlooked.

So far no industrial visits were organised from the college. And to speak of the course curriculum and exams i think they are not much intended to practical or research driven. And i think in this rapidly growing world you cannot solely depend on colleges atleast not in engineering a person who works hard alone tend to succeed.

Some of the Major companies visiting for campus are simens, Mercedes-Benz, BML, HIL, etc. Placements go throughout a year and students who are interested can take the interview

Well cultural, educational and sports program are conducted by clubs and college throughout a year major events are jamboree, and college fest and college sports. And there is also savishkar a program for 1 st year students to introduce themselves and their talents.

The fee structure for a management quote are quite expensive considering the benefits of the college, and the government seats are some what feasible. And there are qoute seats like snq and sc / st seats etc to help poor and backward class people. And there are scholarship like vidya siri to help minimize the fee

I availed for vidya siri scholarship which is a fee concession given by the government. You have to apply it in start of 1 st year and you revive it every year.

I am from mechanical so girls number are very low it's usually 4 girls to 70 boys. They are providing many scholarship especially for girls to encourage them to opt mechanical engineering. I don't think there is any gender or race discrimination exists in our college we all live equally we don't care about the cast or colour of a person while calling her/him as a friend

No. I daily up and down from my village which is 3 km away from my college through my bike. The college starts at 8.30 in the morning and sometimes it starts at 7.30 so and it lasts upto 5.30 in the evening.

There is alumni hall built especially to help student to contact thae alumnis and our college coundcts a yearly program to gather all the alumnis

Based on kcet entrance exam, after that we have to choose the list of colleges and courses we are interested in and then based on our ranking a certain college and course from that list is alloted if we don't like the college we can reject this round of allotment and move to second round and so on.

There are currently 52 staff members who are working in our department they all are BE,Mtech graduates some have done Phd.to contact a faculty we can always go to staff room directly, they also conduct a monthly students and faculty interaction to discuss the problems of students and try to solve them
