Remarks

Positive remark is college is providing on duty form for the symposium participants workshop participants and any other programmes which may be of games too Negative remarks are the hostel food is not too good

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum comes under a good syllabus engineering mechanics survey construction techniques mechanics of materials fluid mechanics solid mechanics architecture structural engineering concrete technology hydraulics design of rc elements estimaion soil mechanics and a lot more available stuff inclusice many lab Exams are of 3 internals and it is kept in basis of portion

As per ur wish u can join placement classes for IT and core jobs and programmes are conducted for entrepreneurship most of the student have been placed in many companies if you got a Dominiant knowledge your salary will be more no the college dont provide internship facilities but it will allow to participate in them

Krishnav this festival consist of dance programmes singing stalls are provided many students will participate in them there are prizes for them cricket matches football and many sports event are conducted

Fee Structure And Facilities

1 lakh it consist of fees for the lab facility library usage inclusive of many computers and wifi physical education it is little expensive i think so books are not provided for any individuals only the library is available

For loan facilities the college can offer you a marksheet certificates bonafide certificate scholarship are provided as per the community religion but its not a huge amount compared to college fees no other scholarships are provided

Hostel Facilities

It consist of 5 blocks and each block is for a 1st year 2nd year 3rd year 4th year students normally 4 occupant for a room and 2 occupants room also available mess will be vegetarian canteen facilities are available

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

No such communication is available with the alumni students no ragging is involved in college and of hostel and the seniors may be of friendly but there is no time to communicate with them seniors students may also join in a programme with the juniors

I studied diploma on the basis of the government counselling is done i attended that and requested them for this college as per government norms i joined this college and there are other chances to join this college by management

Faculty

Well a genuine character they will help u in a lot to explore about civil engineering you can communicate with them easily so dont worry about your doubts they encourage us to join many programmes workshops may be of any other programmes which is not relevant to ur courses

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

A Brief Overview of SKCET as an Atmosphere

I chose this college as it was closer to me than other colleges i applied for. I got a seat in HITS, as well as CUK. I declined them both for having poor placement records, something that SKCET excels in. Even though i am not a hosteller, the hostel food was reported to be very bad by my friends. This might be a negative point for those looking to stay in the hostel. Other hostel facilities like cleaning, space, etc are quite good still. One of the main ways to gain entrance into these collleges is to do the 12th grade exams well, after which you can apply to the college through the TNEA scheme. It is easy to get into the college provided you have a cutoff above 170 in your 12th boards. Once i got into the college, the admission process was quite easy, except that they expected the entire year fees to be paid upfront. Overall a 7/10 experience....Read More
