Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very good, it completely focuses on the overall understanding of the concepts involved and links to the industrial level that helps the students grab the concepts practically. VIT has its own system for academics called as FULLY FLEXIBLE CREDIT SYSTEM (FFCS), which means the student can create their own timetables, own selection of teachers, own class timings, suitable lab slots in the morning or evening, so it gives better flexibility to manage his/her own time.

Placement Experience

5

THIS IS THE BEST PART OF MY COLLEGE: IT HAS A SUPERB PLACEMENT RECORDS, Almost all students get placed here with an average CTC of 6.5 LPA, and many get placed in above 12 LPA CTC, The companies come here are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Cisco, paypal, infosys and major IT companies. Yes, this company provides internships as per the student's knowledge and coding skills, and the stipend may vary from 10k - 60k as per the company. MY EXPERIENCE: I am placed in a good MNC called Virtusa: Information technology that provides services to its Client companies, my profile is Full Stack Developer, with a CTC of 5.5 LPA.

College Events

4.5

Technical: Technovit is the name given for technical fests which comprise Hackathons, game Competitions, etc CULTURAL: Vibrance is a mix of the technical and cultural program, which includes live shows by Bollywood artists. dance, songs DJ, Food And a lot more, it is a 4 days event and about 4-5k students participate. MANAGEMENT: There are students involved who want to showcase their skills in event management, sponsorship, they get good opportunities for organizing any events or shows on the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since it is a private college, it's expensive if you're not eligible for a scholarship, it can go up to 3.3 LPA but if you got a good rank in VITEEE, the fees would be around 1.5 LPA. The scholarship offered is 1 lakh as 25k per year, if you got a good rank in The entrance exam, VITEEE

Campus Life

4

50:18 is the boy's girls ratio. clubs such as Health Club, trekking club, dance club, music club, drama club, Android club, etc. They conduct regular workshops to showcase skills and learn something new, however, there are fees to take part in it 50 - 1000 per person. No, gender discrimination, not at all, students from all states of India comes and studies here, there is a rich diversity in the college.

Hostel Facilities

4

I LIVE IN HOSTEL, there are 3 buildings of 15, 15 and 18 floors each, the rooms are divided as 2 bedded, 3 bed, and 4 bedded of each AC AND NON AC CATEGORY, THE HOSTEL rooms are well maintained and daily cleaning is done by supervisors, since its a new campus the hostel furniture are new and up to the mark. Since there are many vacant rooms, it cannot be the case of seat full, however, one can live in PG near the college which costs around 6-7 k per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they stay connected and also regular alumni meet is conducted by the college called VITAA, seniors are helpful and they might provide references to various companies. seniors do provide some tips and tricks that help in preparing for placement and other college-related activities.

Admission

There is an online application form called VITEEE, the forms are available after December and the exam is conducted in April - May. Thereafter, results in one month with the rank, if under 1000 AIR, eligible for the scholarship, otherwise full tuition fees, (check for the updated criteria) as they change the fees yearly. Since the college has a good reputation in India for Btech, that's why I opted for the same.

Faculty

3.5

Most of the faculties are Dr. And they have quite good experience in teaching. Some are interested some are not that much. However as per the concepts, PPT presentations and blackboards are used, they have good knowledge as per the industries too, One can feel free to ask doubts to them in their cabin, in visiting hours.
