Remarks

Overall the college is good, but it need to improve its administration system. Their is a culture of negligence over various extra curricular activities. Changes occurring in the college is very slow, it need to be develop more.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The college (Come under Delhi University) best you will find in India. Their is a vast number of different topic is tought from different disciplines of political science. Examination are held on semester basis, along with mid sem examinations and practicals

Placement Experience

3.5

The college is having a placement cell, students are selected from many Internship Programs. Companies come from adjecent area. Internship basically held before summer vacation as companies demand interns for long time. The maximum job package was given 30 thousands/month.

College Events

5

The College Council organises a 2 or 3 day fest annually with the event name 'Elixer'. Various artist, music, painitng, band, drama competitions are held during the festival. An Star Night also held during the festival where various celebrities are called up for performance and concerts. Various departments and socities of the college also organises an anual Departmental Festivals with various theme names. Regular workshops and seminars are also organised by the College on day to day issues.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, since it is a central government college comes directly under UGC the fee is quite low. The students also have to pay examination fees before semester examination. Their are various heads in which money is take from the student which includes fees like, Sports fees, tution fee, pupil fee etc. The college also gives scholarship to the students coming from poor family background.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college gives scholarship to the students coming from weak background mainly on the criteria of SC's and ST's. Students coming from North East region are given some extra amount of scholarship by the University in the name of college. The fee concession forms comes just after a month of the payment of college fees. The maximum ammount which is returned is 4000 rupees.

Campus Life

4

The college is available for both male and female, having good female/male ratio. Their is anual elections held by the student unions which is the worst thing anyone will find anywhere in education institute. Students come from every State of the country so it is having very good diversity, cases of sexual harrasment are very low.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Since the college is new so we are not having College hostel as of now. However the students are having opportunities of living in near by area's. The average rental to be paid is 10000. The college is having its canteen with varying cost of food. Food is quite costly in the canteen but quality is good.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful, since the college is having ragging free campus so no case of harrasment by the senior comes up, they are like elder family members if you are an out stationed student.

Admission

Admission to the college is very easy process, you just have to secure the criteria of marks demanded by the college (The merit list is uploaded by the University in its website). Passing Certificates, Character certificate, migration certificate, Migration certificate, Marksheet and Caste Certificate (if applied) are compulsory documents to be submitted during admission. After admission you have to pay the college fees which is approximately 11 thousand (it varies year by year).

Faculty

5

You will find the best of the faculty find anywhere in the world. Each and every professor is qualified with doctrate degree from the top universities of India and World. There also many ad-hoc professor selected on the basis of their merit.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being brutally honest I don't think that the course contributes a lot to our preparation for the real world but it teaches us very new things which I like. The course might not be very helpful in our real life preparation or the preparation for the real world but at the same time it enhances our knowledge and teachers as about various new things so I am satisfied with my course and whatever the curriculum includes I like it

In term of relevance I'll say that there are many topics which should not be taught as they are way too old and contradicting in modern times. New tumes problems and solutions should be taught in replace focusing on present.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are generally placed with an average package of 7-8 lakhs for management programs. Companies including the big 4 like EY, KPMG, Deloitte and other reputed companies have visited and many offers have been made. Around 60% of the students get placed in management branch. After getting the degree, I am also planning to appear in the placement opportunities.
