Remarks

Few negative comments are campus is a small campus. Less greenery Positive comments are good environment and clean surrounding with friendly staff around. Water filter are kept everywhere in campus to keep students and faculty hydrated

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses offered by College are good and which helps do correlate with technical world. The exams are conducted in a perfect manner and labs are equipped with good machine's and all required items.

Placement for most of the departments are very good with more that 80% of students getting placed to various companies. Companies like Accenture, dxc, l&T, Atkins, dell, google, cisco, wipro, Bosch and many more

Branch fests like aakar(civil) College fest - TechNIEks And also famous festival and events like mother tongue language day, ganesh chaturthi etc are held. During fest famous artist are called for example praveen golkindi, singer and composer like akul, marathon with a cause

Fee for merit students is 26000 fee include fee for tutions.health. sports. Graduation and tution fee. Fee is feasible and suitable for all economic class and also help from management is given for students who find difficulty in paying fee

Good scholarship are available for students and stipend are also given. A scholarship department is in college which supports students to know about variously scholarships and regular notices are announced on college notice board.

Gender ratio is almost 1:1 in most of department. Regular workshops are held few of them are sponsored by teqip. Wast diversity on race religion ethnicity. No discrimination based on economic status. Variously sports are encouraged by College.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meet is held in College and most of them are working in a reputed companies and one of those is and are Narayana murty who is founder of Infosys. So the interaction with students and alumni is held in good way

Admission

Based on the rank obtained from CET exam conducted by Karnataka education board counseling is done and admission is obtained in college. A mock entry alloment is done from kcet board and after that actuall alloment of seats are done and admission is taken for college

The faculty of our college have good knowledge in their specific field and help the students to do future studies on that subject. Faculty are friendly in clearing thour doubts on and off campus with good cooperation.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

Overall the college is good

I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k . All about NIE Mysore by Satwik (placed in Samsung)

The admission to this college was through the KEA entrance exam. The state board conducts an exam called K-CET after regular board exams. One can take admission through comedk, and also management seats are also available. You should contact college administrators through their website.
