Remarks

The college is pretty good There are bad influences. But everything is dependent on the friend and company you choose. As long as you choose the proper company and start decent there'll be no issue

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum and exam structure are well built. The education here in VIT is completely research-driven. It will fit sure to help you in becoming a professional. But the student will have to approach the faculty and show a lot of interest in order for that to happen. There is a lot of strength here in our college and this focusing on every student is tough for the faculties. But once a student approaches for help, the faculty tries to help them no matter what it takes.

Placement Experience

4

I haven't availed any internship yet but as far as the placements are concerned vit has a great record for placements. They get 76% of students placed every year. They offer a lot of courses which we call soft skills from the first semester itself to build the skills required for a student to attend campus placements.

College Events

5

1) Gravitas - The technical fear of vit which occurs in mid of October. It's a gala for all the techies out there. 2) Riviera - the cultural fest. Riviera is ranked the third biggest fest all over India. They always do something new, there will always be something exciting 3)A lot of other fears occur as well here and there which are conducted by clubs and chapters. You can get to know about them once you join here as its a huge list

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible if you come in on a merit basis. It costs you exactly 1.73 lakhs or 1.93 lakhs as tuition fees based on the course you choose and around 3 lakhs per annum including tuition fee, hostel fee, and mess fee It might deviate 30 k both ways depending on the type of hostel and mess you choose. This consists of AC/NON AC rooms which come in 1 Bed, 2 Bed, 3 Bed, 4 Bed, and 6 Bed And the messes being Veg, Non-veg and special mess

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I did not avail of any scholarship and I don't think there is any. The only scholarship available is for the poor people who can't afford the university where you'll have to submit income proof

Campus Life

5

There aren't many parties going around. Except for that the extracurriculars, sports, labs, competitions are very good and happen regularly letting you have a very decent and good university experience. The gender ratio is somewhere around 1:3. There will no tolerance based on gender, race, sex, etc. The campus has a wide range of facilities from lab technology, infrastructure to fitness facilities and sports facilities and cultural and parks and a pleasant environment. Overall, you'll have a great university experience

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I did. The hostel fees and mess fees will be around 1 lakh 20 thousand It might deviate 30 k both ways depending on the type of hostel and mess you choose. This consists of AC/NON AC rooms which come in 1 Bed, 2 Bed, 3 Bed, 4 Bed, and 6 Bed And the messes being Veg, Non-veg and special mess

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful. Once you get into a set of clubs and chapters. You'll have a lot of seniors mentoring you there. And they'll be very helpful and they willingly come up to help their beloved juniors

Admission

There is an exam which will be conducted in the first week of April named VITEEE. Its last date of filing the application lies around the first week of February. You take the test and go to counseling based on your rank and there'll be a lot of courses being offered in the four branches of vit namely Vellore, Chennai, ap, Bhopal

Faculty

4.5

Not everyone in the faculty list is too good but vit offers a system names FFCS which lets you choose your faculty. This helps the student choose the best faculty in vit or maybe in India. Vit has a lot full of quality teachers who graduated from IIT'S and various other reputed universities around the world. The faculty will always be available and they will try to help you to any extent once you reach out for it.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
