Remarks

No remarks because our faculty and my campus is the best and I'm pleasure to say I'm amritian and our chanclore amrutanadamayi mataa (Amma) because of her blessings we are living our life's peacefully

Course Curriculum Overview

When it comes to my campus It is one of the top 10 colleges and when it comes to studies it is the best up to my knowledge and im confident that they will try us to get placed and the exam patren will be 2mid terms and 3 quizes are internals and then sem exams Whenbit comes to a role of making student in a proffesionla way they will teach you everything in practical and theoretical way like how they work in companies and all and the projects will be awsome and it gives us gud knowledge so my campus is awsone

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah it is feasible if you will get seat or else it is expensive For merit students if they get any scholarships by the government then it will be very helpful for them If non local students will be there then hostel fee will also included For local students no hostel fee so it is some what benifit for them or else it it's expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opt for any scholarships beacuse as I'm non localide eventhough we apply we won't get it so ididnt apply

Campus Life

Gender ratio is eqal in some courses girls will higher and campus life is not that much gud my college is mainly for studying pupose and for studies it will be awsome and many sports are there for sports chetana club is there and robotics also there ther are awsome.

Hostel Facilities

Yes I opted hostel as I'm not a local student And it is a sharing room A room has 4members And rooms will be small We need to clean our rooms no one will clean those this is one of the best this I like in my hostel you should do ur own work you should wash ur own cloths For hostel 80k per year

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Excellent the alumni of our campus students who are working on feilds they will come and interviwe us and they will help us to prepare for our placements and they will be really helpful for us and they are too gud

Admission

As everyone know that our country mainly needs software to run and my interest is mainly for coding and developer so I thought that this course will be useful to reach my destination so I opt for this coures And I wrote my entrance exam to this college because this college has gud background and placement percent is high I got 1500 rank after interview I got seat in this college

Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

Likes

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

My life in Amrita as an Undergraduate

I applied to PESU in bengaluru, i wanted CSE but got into ECE so i chose AI and DS in Amrita over ECE in PESU. Also fees was lesser in Amrita compared to PESU. I wanted to apply for MIT, bangalore but since the college was very far and the fees was huge i diidnt apply, plus i already got into amrita by then. And since i am from bangalore and didnt want to leave the place i didnt try for colleges outside of bangalore. The admission process for my college is either through the entrance exam conducted by them which is AEEE or through JEE. I got in through JEE since it was better than my AEEE score. with a rank below 3k students might get into slab 1 for any course if they are from bangalore due to local quota....Read More
