The college will be very good for achieving the dreams of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

It a very planned course planned by the professors of the university and planned accordingly in such a way that the student crystal clearly understands the depth of the concepts and the university has a very good campus placements percentage such that we'll get places for the minimum CGPA 6.5.

Placement Experience

The placement percentage is really good such that many companies visit the campus the minimum CGPA to be maintained is 6.5 i.e, the aggregate or average GPA thouroughout all the semesters

College Events

There will be a event in every semester. In the odd semesters there will be a event called kalakriti which is like farewell party for the new comers and in every even semester there will be a event called kalanjali. We also have some events too in our campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual fees comes around 3.5 lakhs per annum in which the college fees and the hostel fees along with mess etc will be included.We can pay it thourough a challan or we can also pay it thourough online and we must carry a copy of the fees paid which should be submitted during the joining.

The college offers scholarships according to the performance of the students in the entrance exam and as well as JEE MAINS

Campus Life

The campus is built in a land of around 45acres which is located in the city of bangalore. It is well known for its greenery in the campus, we have clubs(both technical and non-technical), and we will be attending workshops held by some technical clubs as well.

Hostel Facilities

We will be provided with hostel rooms which contains a bed capacity of four(two double beds up and down).There will be limited rooms. For the first years we have separate hostel (two blocks) and the remaining years students will be in separate block

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are very kind to the juniors such that they help out the juniors to get the doubts solved. There will not be any ragging in the campus.

Admission

I had applied for the entrance exam conducted by the university and I have scored all india rank 2897. I have opted this course due to my interest on engineering and the university would help out to build my career. A good university to get graduated.

Faculty

The faculty members are very friendly and well trained graduates. They will teach in such a way that the student can grasp the topics. They will make the problem solve in the classroom itself soon after the finishing of the topic in each and every class.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Infrastructure is well established and good
Security for Students is very high and no ragging

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Dislikes

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I applied to PESU in bengaluru, i wanted CSE but got into ECE so i chose AI and DS in Amrita over ECE in PESU. Also fees was lesser in Amrita compared to PESU. I wanted to apply for MIT, bangalore but since the college was very far and the fees was huge i diidnt apply, plus i already got into amrita by then. And since i am from bangalore and didnt want to leave the place i didnt try for colleges outside of bangalore. The admission process for my college is either through the entrance exam conducted by them which is AEEE or through JEE.
