The college management is very good. There is no such bad remarks from me.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took admission in Master of Commerce for further research studies and Ph.D.This gave me a lot to learn about new things. One should not stop his studies. This gives you many opportunities for growth and development in future. The exam structure includes semester system conducted half yearly. Total 4 semester in 2 Years M.Com degree.

Placement Experience

The college is also having placement cell which conducts placement drives time to time. Various companies visited like HCL, TCS, WIPRO, Axis Bank and many other financial institutions. The recruitment criteria includes Screening of candidates, Group Discussion, Personal Interview etc. 20-30% Students are placed every year.

College Events

Many cultural activities and events are organised in the university. Which is conducted by the Sanskritiki Department of University of Lucknow. Many students participate in there co-curricular activities. The university has its own auditorium in various departments of the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as it is a government institution. The payment modes include both online and offline. There is no additional fee charged during and admission. The fee structure is different for regular and self finance seats. The fee for self finance is almost double of the regular seats.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't availed such facility. But there are various scholarship schemes for needy students. Like inspire scheme. Fee scholarship by State Government etc.

Campus Life

The campus life is very good free from ragging. The college conducts various programmes for students time to time. The female students are having majority in PG. We can see candidates of all religions and caste. There is no such politics in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

No, I am day scholar. The hostel rooms are average. This year the university has completed its 100 Years. The infrastructure is very old. New construction is also being done.New classes are being made keeping in view of increase in no. of students. The average rent is about 10000 for year.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors were very good. They helped us a lot in every possible way. The shared their experience with us.

Admission

Got admission by giving an entrance exam, I remember that entrance exam day, it was raining and I know how I struggled to reach the examination center. It gave me a lot of good experience. Made new friends best memory of my life. Every college give a good memory to his students.

Faculty

The faculty is very helpful.We get about 50 lecture in each semester for each subject. There are 5-6 subjects in each semester.The teaching faculty includes Professor (50-60 years), Assistant Professor(40-50 years),SRF(30-40 years),JRF(25-30 years).

My Post Graduation Journey

The main reason of choosing this college was it is onw of the best college in kanpur. The teachers are well equipped and experienced in thier respective subjects.
I was not so much engaged in social activites but sometimes i participate in debates, quizzes etc.
The faculties are PhD holders and has great expertise in their respective subjects. They will guide you at any time anywhere. You can share your personal problems also, they will help you out. Guide and mentor you in your career also.

Dislikes

One thing that i dont like was the behavior of some professor. They are lazy, they dont want to come to class. They will just say it Oh, you can do it as you are good enough and in 2 to 3 years you will be sitting with me.
Sometimes i feel like lack of regular classes i am loosing interest on accounts and Auditing
Lack of regularity, punctuality and discipline affects me a lot. That's why i don't like it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason of choosing to do M.Com was i always wanted to complete my post graduation and after post graduation i want to prepare for ugc net, jrf to pursue PhD. The curriculum of this course helps me alot like it helps me to understand banking terms, norms, rules and regulations. Now i am capable enough to do business also, invest in share markets, financial securities etc. So it connects me from business, banking , and real markets . The main area where improvement is needed according to me is their teaching methods. If You are giving a real world example that's good but you have to teach its impacts , pros and cons also . Teachings styles should be changed according to me. The duration for completing exams is 3 hours and it is sufficient according to me. You can complete whole paper if you know everything. And the level of exams is also moderate.

The best thing about this university was it's culture and it's environment for which I choosed the university.
The greenery circumstances where you will feel the calmness.
There is a placement facility in my faculty of commerce but in others faculty there is nothing so.

Dislikes

There should be proper process of professor recruitment.
In my faculty, the level of education is not satisfactory. But 75℅ attendance is mandatory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I have decided to persue m. Com and trying to choose best university for it. I chooses this university because it was in top 5 rank of NIRF. To be honest some professors really work hard to train us to deal with real world but some also do their duty just because they have to draw salary. There should be a regular class otherwise they should inform before. The exam get conducted once is December or january and second is conducted in may.

I WANTED TO CONTINUE PHD SO I OPT THIS .AND THE COURSE WAS HAVING THE SAME SUBJECTS AS THE MBA COURSE HAD . THE CURRICULUM DOES PREPAPRE US WELL . THEY GIVE US VARIOUS TASK LIKE PRESENTATION ,ROLE PLAY , PPT ETC. THAT ENHANCE OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE CURRICULUM AND THERE IS 24*7 GUIDANCE . TEACHING METHOD DOES VARRIES FROM PROFESSOR TO PROFESSOR AND THAT IS WORTHY FOR THE STUDENT ,COURSE CURRICULUM DOES SOMETIMES FEEL VAST . THE EXAM FREQUENCY AND DIFFICULTY IS FAIR

Keeping the cost structure and ease of finding a college, I believe that my college is appropriate for students of two types. One, who want to pursue a correspondence course besides doing other professional course somewhere else. Others, who want to gain knowledge and experience of the faculty.
