Remarks

We feel proud that we are studying in one of the best University of India. the various facilities stated above in very less fee structure is rarely you can find in other universities. university provides every type of resource for your overall development, now it's on you that how you can utilise those resources for improvement of yourself and help to country for the better future.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

the course structure is semester based. BA course consists 6 semesters while MA have 4 semester. apart from that there are also internals held during mid sem. my course also comprises field tour which is very relevant for better understanding of the subject.

although geography is a traditional course, there are some companies like ajim premji foundation, the Gandhian fellowship, sharda University etc hires students from our department. the university also provide internship named "earn while learn" for current students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure is very low as compared to other universities. my masters program cover 3200 rs for 1st semester, 800 for second, 1600 for 3rd and rs 810 or last semester. ghe University also take admission on Paid Seat, which is 10% of the total seat of a course. for that you have to submit 30k for 1st sem and 30k for 3rd sem if you are taking admission on paid seat qouta. 1st semester fee is submitted online while others is on fee counter.

Fees and Financial Aid

no. currently University is not providing any scholarships program for ny course. so it is irrelevant to answer this question.

Campus Life

5

there is no discrimination in gender in this university. the admission is provided on the merit of your in the entrance. there are about 9000 female students in the campus. as stated above there are 700 plus foreign nationals in the campus, apart from that there are almost students from all over the India. so there is a great cultural diversity in the campus. university also provides cultural fest for foreigners as well as for different ethics. there is large number of play grounds in front of every hostel. apart from that, there is central playground, various indoor and outdoor stadiums in the campus. the hockey playground is world class in the campus.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

yes university also provides hostel for students from there merit basis in entrance exam. the hostel fee is very less. you have to pay 1500 rs extra per anum. and the mess fee is about 2200 per month. mess menu is quite good and hostel facilities is very best. hostels provides common room fan 24 hr electricity library and all other basic amenities.

Alumni/Alumna

the help from seniors as well as alumni association is very helpful in overall development of the students. they are very friendly and help in every steps for course, as well as career prospect and overall development of the students.

Admission

I took admission in bachelor of geography in 2015. I know from various sources that it have one of the best department of geography in country. there was a common entrance test for all arts courses. you have to be in top list if you want to take geography. the entrance form published every year after saraswati puja. exam will held in the month of May.

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

Remarks:

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level. Participation from many IITs, NITs and other different colleges from many parts of India make our fests super big and exciting.
