Bharati Vidyapeeth, B.Tech, Electrical Engineering

Remarks

the meetup with the college administrators is not that frequent and must be performed on a regular basis, the college must support and understand the struggles of the students and hence must acknowledge the with proper guidance which I believe is a very important factor for an institution like Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

the course pattern is purely industrial based and mainly focused on practical based learning as we have more practical classes than lectures. the full course is inclusive of lectures, practical classes, practical Labs, industrial visits and regular guest lectures, all these impart the prime focus of getting placed from the campus itself. yes 2 industrial visits have been conducted so far from my stream.

College Events

5

the official event celebrated in Bharati Vidyapeeth is the Bhartiyam which is held in the month of April every year. Other events are organised by clubs of the university like the EDC, Leo club of Pune, Rotract club etc which include various events and fests which are based on technical, non-technical, sports and Industry based. not only the bharti students can participate but the students from other colleges in pune can also participate in the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure of the program is inr 1,20,000 annually. payment of the college fee can be made multiple gateways like cash, online fund transfer, cheque, DD. additional charges are not included in the tuition fees, the additional charges include examination fees and stationary. No additional charges are required in order to take admission in the college. The college provides full transparency in fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

the college provides no scholarship for the general students. However the scholarships and fee waivers are provided for special candidates like from the place the come from and also if the student gets involved in government activities for college students the college does provides the required waiver. the average sum of scholarships is only disclosed to the receiver.

Campus Life

4.5

the campus life is quiet amazing the lush green campus is very beautiful, and a very straight mile road connects the back and the front gates of the college which is very wonderful. the ratio of boys to girls is 3:1 and is a very diverse community students come from basically all the different states but feel like home here.

Alumni/Alumna

the college seniors are very helpful and treat you like their own siblings which is very unique to observe and hence make this place very great. my interaction with the college seniors went full of gratitude which I didn't expect but made it very rare, also alumni meetup is organised by the college where the super seniors of our college come to motivate and inspire the current students.

Admission

I chose electrical engineering as it was my preferred stream and also I got the required merit to get admission, Bharati Vidyapeeth is a deemed university and is located in a prime location in India also it is a well renowned institution thus I opted for it. I gave the bvp-cet held in may, 2018. After I got the admission letter from the college I went for the counselling session and got my preferred stream. regular classes started from 4th July onwards.

Faculty

4

there are approximately 20 lectures 1 theoretical and 24 practical classes, comprising a total of 45 classes. the average age of the faculty members is 35-55 years, and the minimum qualification degree is a masters and PhD degree. the faculty members create a scenario of very Interactive sessions and teaching very informative so that the students don't face difficulties in real life scenarios in the industries. not all but some industrial based lectures and session are certificated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
