Remarks

Pros: Better education, Disciplined Good place to start, Fee is feasibleCons, Need more recognition, Rules should be relaxed.

Entrance Preview

No Entrance examination In general, the college admissions were based on Anna University counselling results. In addition to it the college also has limited management seats available. It was my parents choice but I am happy with what they have chosen for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was good, as it laid the foundation on the basics of computer science which then motivated me to pursue my masters, currently doing my MTech in Business Analytics at National University of Singapore(NUS), Singapore. Some of the electives which form basics and relevant to the industry are as follows: Technical Electives Programming Concepts, Data Structures, OOPS etc.

Internships Opportunities

During my bachelors it was not mandatory to do an internship, rather I was engaged with BSNL to do my final year project for which there was no stipend offered at that point of time.

Placement Experience

3

There is a placement unit within the campus. Again it all depends on how well you stand out of the crowd. We had few companies on-campus but still a majority of the students had to rely on off-campus placements or walk-in interviews.

College Events

4

Unfortunately till date, there is no such cultural events being organized. Some of the major technical events include department specific symposiums which are held each year.I was given an opportunity to organize one such symposium during my period of study. This is one event which brings together students from different backgrounds/environment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. It is not very expensive and this makes it feasible to have people from different backgrounds under one-roof. Even for students who go with management quota, the fee is quite acceptable.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't availed any but there still exists scholarships which are based on family's net income for a year. when it is below certain level then students are eligible to avail that scholarship.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities and mess food have been good and the management is continuously working to make it even more better. But the hostel regulations are quite strict which is not accepted by everyone (i.e.) No use of mobile phones, time schedule for study, meals etc. but now the rules have been quite relaxed.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students: There is no ragging/ other such activities in our campus, All students are free to express their thought and no one is restricted on basics of junior or senior: We had friendly seniors who were leading us by their experience.

Exam Structure

No, All the colleges under Anna University have same exam structure, Since our college is affiliated to Anna University till-date we follow the same pattern and the exam structure has been well accepted by the students till-date.

Faculty

4.5

They were good, In my opinion it all depends more on the student. The faculties were good enough to clear the doubts of the students and supportive enough to clear our doubts after class hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
