Review analysis of MUHS

MUHS is a well reputed college and my experience in this college has been nothing but good. It has been quite pleasant all these years with the faculty being quite generous and supportive, the college infrastructure was great, and there were all basic necessities provided to the students.

The course curriculum is up to date and quite interesting and engaging. It was carefully curated to provide us with both practical and theoretical aspects of medicine and surgery. In the first few semesters, we were taught all subjects to build an overall knowledge regarding the stream, but later we focused on subjects more oriented towards our specializations. We had extensive research work which helped us double up the knowledge and practical lab sessions which were much more helpful than theory. The exams were also carried out well, twice a year along with the internal assessments in both the semesters of the year, dividing up the task and hence it was not very hectic to work with.

MUHS, Nashik provides best placements for students of MBBS. There is a drastic increase in the placements in recent years and is excepted to rise even more in the coming years. Some of the companies visiting the campus for placements are Novartis, TCS, Cognizant, etc.

The fees for the course is 58,200 INR per year which can be paid in installments. It is a little expensive as compared to the other courses but is worth it and the world class facilities of the college make up for it.

The scholarship is available for students from the lower economic strata or backward classes, or on the basis of individual merit, if they are incapable of paying the fees due to their low annual income.

Apart from the studies, the college has a lot more to offer its students. The college has provided its students with a Digital Library to have a more technologically advanced experience. The laboratories are well equipped for the students to have a good practical training session. Apart from the educational things, the college also provides the student with a hygienic and first class cafeteria with a wide variety of foods to choose from. For recreational and other purposes, there is a gym, a hospital, a guest house, an auditorium, a post office, a bank, an ATM and a music room.

The infrastructure and the facilities of the hostel are world class and unsurpassed. The rooms are remarkable and spacious with both AC and non AC rooms, double and triple sharing, clean bathrooms, Wifi, and a responsible warden to look after the students.

The alumni and the senior students of the college are very friendly and cooperative and do not back down from lending a helping hand to the juniors. They are always present to impart knowledge and guidance to the juniors whenever necessary.

Our faculty members were extremely helpful and highly qualified. They were quite talented and wise with a plethora of knowledge and experience in the field. A lot of them are/were medical practitioners. They were great professors capable of giving adequate time and attention to each student.
