College management is very good just I have to make only one remark to chairpersons of various departments for encouraging students for various technical clubs in university.
The courses are very well built and having a vision to built some curiosity in you regarding the subject then only you will be able to perform some research in the same field in your masters. The university offers various JRF and SRF as well where a better vision of research is fulfilled and UGC grants then funding for various researches going within the campus.
Placement sessions are very well and University having MoU with various industries and provide a better scope of interships as well. I have availed an internship in BARC mumbai and I was placed as well within my graduation.
MTS NIC TechAagaz Aawaz Bulandi DNA MESA There were various cultural as well technical feats goes in university around the year. and the above mentioned are the best of those still we have got the youth festival remains our favourite all over the year cz it gives us a week off from classes and all and full on masti mood in the campus. And another CSE fest inceptor was one of the best event we have attended and participated.
Fee Structure is very feasible and the main attraction are the hostels for the students. There are banks as well financing the studies of student which they have to return afterwards their completion of courses. If we talk about bachelor courses then it costs 2. 5-3 lakhs of total cost to Persue a course.
I haven't availed any scholarship or educational loans but there are various scholarships as well loans from PNB and UBI are present in campus.
Campus life is very very good as well there is a good gender ratio and credits goes to the Bsc courses in the university. And if we talk about extracurricular, there are excellent level of curriculur present is campus with the help of DYW office. And there are very good labs, excellent sports support with coaches and various competitions as robotics, mechanics, debates, speeches, essay writing etc.
Yes There are 4 hostels present for boys and 4 for the girls and another one is getting ready for girls. There are separate accomodate for both and as well boys and girls are not allowed to visit each other. other than this the hostel Life is completely chill.
Alumni network is very string, University has produced various politicians, singers, boxers, Roadies contestent and other famous personalities as Dushyant Chautala.
The entrace completely depends on your rank in JEE Mains and then there comes online counseling for different courses in month of July and you get admission in your preferred course. Afterwards filling your online counseling form you must have to physically present in college and ramark yourself for document verification then your file folder becomes ready in hand and you subkit your folder with your initial fee with your corresponding bank and viola admission done.
In my case we were having almost 30-35 work force available in my department where most of tecahers were well completed their researches and having PHD in their fields and others are having masters in their subjects. The average age of faculty is between 35-40. Those all are having their well expertise in their subjects.
Placements at SAITM are great and there are very reputed companies that come to provide placements to the students. Reputed companies like HCL, INFOSYS, AMAZON, FLIPKART, TCS etc. have been past recruiters of Saitm. Infat at SAITM, we have a separate placement cell that handles all the matters related to the training and placement of students.
I have chosen Civil engineering because it has a large scope of government jobs, you can also get a private job. Civil engineering is the only engineering course that is present everywhere because everything is based on construction. All the faculty of this college were so nice and faculty to student ratio is also good, there is 1 teacher for every 10 students All the faculty members are highly educated and most of them are Ph.D. holders and some of them are postgraduate in engineering. Their teaching method is normal means not so good not so bad If we talk about term exams then nothing has happened timely due to this pandemic but overall teachers giving their best to complete the semester and to do exams timely. It was easy for me to pass the exam because of this coronavirus because the university gave us a chance to do 5 ques out of 9 which was quite easy for me.
The placement for the IT sector is good. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. Many students apply for off-campus placement too and acquire good packages. Students from other branches are some times eligible for some placement. The highest package they offer is around 10-12 LPA and the lowest is around 2.5 LPA. Many of the students apply for off-campus placements to grab better opportunities. Our campus also prepares or provides facility to the students for their placements. Around 40 to 50 of total students get their placements on-campus. I plan to forgo higher studies to gain more knowledge.
Well-reputed corporates come down to the university to provide placements with excellent packages. Getting placements is not that easy, and one has to perform exceptionally good in the external exams to get placed. Companies like Amazon offer jobs for the students of all streams. They also offer good packages. Teachers are very helpful. The qualifications of our teachers are world class. Teaching methods are different and new. They focus more on the practical and application aspect. The curriculum is curated beautifully, catering to different interests of the students.
College is not very friendly with funding projects and does cause problems with overall progress of projects and is still not autonomous - follows the old dated VTU syllabus. For positive there isn't a lot to say but the college is overall good.
