Remarks
Overall I want to say that Asansol Engineering College is good. College Faculties are Good and well Educated. Lab classes are done very well. College is in a very Good place but in the college library, the librarian doesn't give us the new updated books. When we issue books from the library, they give us the very old books (last edition 2005 or 2006). So this is a very bad thing which I faced over there.
Course Curriculum Overview
First of all, we have to know that B.Tech consists total 8 semester i.e. 4 years course. In this 4 years, we learned detail structure about our specific course with many groomed classes. Also HU class is very important to improve your personality which is very important to take part in any Industrial Job. Yes, industrial visits were organized for the Students.
Placement Experience
In my opinion, there is moderate placement in our college. Core companies are very less to give placement. IT sectors such as TCS is a good platform to introduce yourself in this college.
College Events
A technical festival Soft skill program was held once. In this events many experts were came from many universities and learned how to join and manage with your professional life. Electro Spardha is one of the most running events which is held by the college. In this event, you have to make a new thinking project with your teammates and then shown to the experts and then they had decided the winning team.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Approx 4 lakhs rupees need to complete this course. It consist total 8 semester i.e. 44000Rs.×8 =352000 Rs. approx. Also you have to include many types of events Cost, Hostel Fees and many other. College accept card payment, draft system and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
No there is no scholarship for the students but if you have TFW certificate then the college give you discount in your tuition fees.
Campus Life
Boys:Girls- 60:40 approx, in our college many types of religions are there but there is no problem regarding this religion. Politics are very far from our college. No one has any interest to show about politics. A very good and calm environment in this college.
Alumni/Alumna
In this college, very good interaction with the seniors also with the juniors. I had remembered that our seniors took our classes and gave us a very good information about the college life. They give us many types of books and lab kits. Also we tried to help our juniors. Ragging cases are very rare in our college. Overall very good bonding with our seniors and Juniors.
Admission
After completing my JEE exam with a good score then I would got this college at August 2015. I had selected this college because I had listened that many types of companies may be come to interact with me. I had completed my B.Tech degree in a stream of Electrical Engineering. I selected this course because I love to work with many types of circuit.
Faculty
In our Asansol Engineering College, many higher certified and mediocre certified faculty are there. In a week approx 20 lectures we had attended. They are tried very hard to get a clear knowledge about the particular topic which had discussed on that day. Many times they use projector to give a clear view on that topic.
