Remarks

They are good but we have to do our works and they will help us only in their part if required.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Yes it's fair. We have exams and assignments on specific topics so that we can learn from them fullfledgedly. In my perspective professors are making us think about the subject in deeper. We were provided with facilities like 24/7 computers and wifi services. On campus placements are actually core and non core. Core in the sense going to a field related to our branch. Non core in the sense going to a field other than our branch. It can be anything software or civils ar MBA anything. Industrial visits were organised for students in a particular semester.

Placement Experience

5

Placement and Interns I have not availed any still but we generally apply for the intern and then during holidays we will be having our intern. Every year 80 to 90 percent students were placed and some of them will be joining in highers likq M. Tech etc.

College Events

5

We have 4 large fests every year. Three are cultural and one is technical. Celebrities from all around globe will be coming for guestlectures and participation was also quite enormous. Students actually organise this fest in a well manner. The Fest names were Festember, Aaveg, NITTfest and Pragyan. And we have department symposiums also. Ans Clubs conduct events in the weekends like guestlectures, competitions, debates etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. Mode of payment is through SBIpay online. No additional fees are taken. We can also pay fee offline but online is rather easy than offine. Admission is purely based on Josaa counselling. We have to pay fees per semester and we have to pay the fee without fine in the first one or two months of semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes we have scholarship and loans. Yes for students whose parents income was less than 4 lakhs or so they can apply for scholarship like FFE etc which actually pays for Institute fees. White ration card holder and SC, ST, PHC can get Scholarships. Sum was actually 1 to 2 lakhs per annum. SBI gives us loans for education as they are clubbed with our Institute.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is divine. We have a sports Centre and 4 minor grounds and 1 major ground. We have gym. And we have swimming pool and we have all sports equipment. We have many sports competition during fests. Workshops will be conducted on different aspects like AI, Robotics etc. Gender ratio for our batch was 10:3, We haveany cultural clubs as well as educational clubs through which we can get in contact with everyone. Religion, race doesnt matter among us. Ethnicity is quite normal. There is no sexual harassment and even no ragging.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes. Hostel rooms were Nice and sharing only. 2 per room. We have 2 sharing rooms, 3sharing rooms and also common rooms for each hostel. There are no rentals by the way. And moreover Hostels are quite comfortable and Bathrooms also good.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni visits were quite casual and many of them will be vocoming for speeches and interaction with them was the best part. I met a sir who is presently working in DRDO. He told me to read everything in beyond. And Focus on the core subject.

Admission

Through JEE mains, It basically happens twice in a year in January and April. This institute is the best of all NITs regarding any factor. Counselling will be happening after the JEE MAINS, ADVANCED together as a set of 7 rounds of Josaa for which we have to keep our priorities before the counselling.

Faculty

4

Faculty was quite impressive and arrogant at times. Qualification is Ph. D for lecturers and for assistant lecturers M. Sc. They are quite experienced and well certified by many industries. Most of them have industrial knowledge as they worked in industries. They did many Successful project and hence they know everything about the courses.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
