My College -- The Pros and Cons

The college is good. But the college management is sometimes adamant to their views. However, this is always not the case. Overall it is a friendly atmosphere.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is most of the time impractical with generally zero practice out of them. The college only thinks about the students who wants to score big. But they don't care about their mediocre students. As a result of it many students drop out or fail to complete their course.
Placement Experience
There are various companies that attend our placement cells. We have to submit our form to the placement cell and pay small amount to get submitted and we will get called if we meet the requirements of the company.
College Events
There is analytica, the maths dept. Fest. Also there are many events such bengali literia microbio events. Almost every department boasts off their very own events. The biggest among them is Xavotsav. Xavotsav is also regarded as the biggest fest in Kolkata.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is pretty expensive. Also the college authority ups the fees without any notice. Since there is lack of unity among students and due to the majority of rich students in campus, most of the time these things go unprotested. However, there is transparency.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
No, I didn't apply for scholarships since I am from a privileged family and I felt this scholarships should go to someone needy.
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty cool and friendly. The number of boys and girls are almost the same. The teachers and stuffs show no discrimination towards different religions or caste. However, it mush be added that inspite of being a heritage college, there are some people who are homophobic. The college politics is also in a smaller scale, with zero to no view. The students come from various economical background. The lab equipments are very good.
Hostel Facilities
No, I stayed in a PG near Dumdum Metro. The cost of hostel is too high therefore there are many who have problem in attending it. However, the hostel has pretty good facilities with AC, tv and comfortable rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are helpful. They organize various fests and are friendly to the current students. They are good at heart.
Admission
I liked mathematics so I chose maths. The selection is based on numbers, merit list. 1st and 2nd list is announced. If selected, we have to go to college and submit relevant papers to get submitted. The college stuffs are friendly and helpful, so there's not much trouble in it.
Faculty
The faculty is good and friendly. Some teachers need to be understanding the students. There are many who teach mechanically and practice favouritism. But there are profesors who teach students with care and passion. They strictly follow the syllabus and guidelines.

The university has a 100% placement record. Students get placed at different Rural Development Institutes, Government / Demi Government Organization, renowned NGOs, Voluntary Organization, etc. The average package is about 30k per month.
Course Curriculum Overview
This unique course of Agriculture, Rural and Tribal Development cover the area of Agriculture along with the development of the rural and tribal people, moreover a real-world practical based course under the field of extension. This course will help students to develop themselves as a good young professional in the field of Agriculture or Development sector. After this course, students get placed in different sectors which is one of the main reasons behind choosing this course but the course not only revolves around seeking a job, it also helps students to develop their entrepreneurship skills. The faculty is full of highly qualified professors who are always mentoring us for our utmost excellence. The student ratio shows equity but it depends from class to class. Term Exams are being held every 6 months and the paper is moderately tough but under the guidance of our blessed professors, it will seem to be easy.

Students become eligible for placements in the 3rd year. They can enroll in the placement cell which helps with placements, Some departments get quite good placements from reputed companies. After getting the degree, I plan on sitting for the JAM MSc entrance exams.

As I am a girl,a girl college is always suitable for me. And also I want to give my time in study so that's why I choose morning college. This is the best college for girls 1. Very safe. 2. All requirements are available here. 3. The staff and teachers are very helpful. 4. And most important is the quality of education, which is great here. Back log- 1. No proper canteen. 2. My college situated beside the main road so the vehicle horn is a major issues.
Admission
There is no such activities you have to face. To get admission only your 12th grade marks will examine. If you want to take this subject then make sure that you are student of pure science. You have to take chemistry and mathematics in your 12th grade.

My plan is to give entrance exams like jak, jest, tifr. Mainly my motive is to pursue msc in iit or iisc.

Mostly being focused on UG the placement is not so great. Although various companies come here In my 2nd year TATA has come here for placement. College not highly encourages entrepreneurship as it should. College encourages sports so huge chances are sportspeople also get placed but I don't know about it too much.

Always positive. Very good college. Any type of student can carry our with this college. They will get all facilities in the college. There will be no problem for them. Faculties as well as seniors are very helpful

Our college is surrounded by greenary. An ecosystem protects the tantric balance. All the professors taught us very carefully.
