Remarks

I feel the courses cost the average. As compared to other colleges, it's almost the same but it's just that keeping in mind the placements, the college is worth it. My course costs around 3.5Lakhs which I find to be reasonable compared to other private colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing a b tech in ECE with a specialization in instrumentation engineering since I've been passionate about electronics from a young age. The teaching is good and the faculty is well educated and experienced with most of them being PhD holders. The curriculum is updated regularly and hence helps make us job-ready.

Placement Experience

Almost 100% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered this year was about 43 LPA. The top recruiter was Microsoft this year. The average salary offered was 4.5 LPA. The placements process for top companies like google, amazon, and Microsoft was a bit challenging. My college was very well supportive.

College Events

College fests and MUNs are really great on the campus. The security can be improved more. The students are from various parts of the country so it's nice to know different people, teachers are okay and support staff does its job well. It's in bit outskirts but well connected.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

The building is new, so the infrastructure is great, classrooms are fully equipped

Dislikes

Placement cell is not very active and internship opportunities are not really provided from the side of the college
Rigid attendance system , need to maintain atleast 75% percent attendance. They do not easily provide On Duty attendance for going for internships

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and comprehensive integrating the subjects of arts as well as law. The first 2 years focus more upon the arts subject and thereafter focuses on legal subjects . Covers all the important laws pertaining to taxation, contracts, torts, labour law, environmental law, Interpretation of statutues, election laws, cyber law , etc.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

In our college there any company are coming mostly plastic company where coming plastic company like Reliance ,fanuc, jsw, ather, caterpillar ecetera where coming they provide placements and packages above 3 lakh our placement office velladurai sir is a very kindful for he makes a company dealings

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

This college is very much strict in many aspects, like no talking between boys and girls

My Nursing college

Likes

Like to study the subjects in a practical way as well as getting skillfull everyday
Liked the events and the participation of the students in every aspect of the event
Liked the way teachers behaving with the students in a friendly manner

Dislikes

The working hours in clinical area is way more high and not able to tolerate
The hostel rooms should be cleaned every week atleast
More restrictions for girls only and there is a partiality among the students in gender

The subjects are quite tough but can read and learn with a little bit more effort over those subjects and so the exam will be held for 3 hours continuously and the exam pattern in like semester type and so the course in more useful
