Remarks

I booked a counselor who advised me to go to this college. I met with some highly educated professionals, they also recommend me to go to this college. It has one of the best infrastructures but there will be some restrictions that are too much and gender-biased like IN-Time of college and hostel. I opted for this course because I have a keen interest In semiconductors and electronic items.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course and Curriculum are good. It's almost updated and getting updated with time. We got a lot of industrial exposure because of a minimum of 2 industrial visits per semester. Some of the faculties are very good but some of them are full of arrogance and are the worst. Some of the good teachers were: Prof. Sharmila, Prof. Shanmugasundaram, prof. Budhadditya Bhattacharya.

E- Cell in our college is a bit active plus the companies that come in our campus are top-notch technical and management companies like amazon, apple, Samsung, black rock, KPMG, Delloite, futures first like many of them comes. The Alumni base is very much strong and you can get referrals easily.

College Events

Our cultural fest is among the top fests named RIVIERA. we have 114 clubs and chapters that is a lot too much. Some of them are on an international level also like, ASCE, ASME, etc. We have car making team also that is also very good.

Campus Life

We have one of the biggest libraries on our campus. All types of courts were there mostly plus we also have a swimming pool that is of Olympic size. Lab equipment is in very good condition and fast wifi but we can use it from 5 AM - 12:30 AM only.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Facility is available on the basis of your CGPA. You will get an AC room only when you have a CGPA greater than 9.2 approx. Hostel rooms are easily available if your CGPA is above 4. If you have no choice and have to stay outside rentals will range from 4k-22k depending on the area's distance from the college.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
