Remarks

my college in one of the top 10 college in India so definitely things are much better here and cost is reasonable

Placement Experience

3

Placements happened in 4th year and internship in 3rd year. In my branch we didn't get any on campus internship. Means no company visit but there are numerous off campus internship available and we go for that.

Fee Structure And Facilities

We have 8 semesters. 2 semesters in a year. and total 16 exams. There are certain credits that need to be taken. So there are 95% fixed course which you have to take and from rest 5%, you can select. Its relevant, you can get jobs in a company or go for research as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed education loan from on campus SBI branch. they provide loan at best rate and even subsidy based on parents income statements.

Campus Life

4.5

we have so many campus clubs, they perform or organized events. We have sac(student activity center) who takes care of extracurricular activities. We have dance, robotics, cooking, debating, social servicing and sports clubs. Also, events such as ethnic festivals, innovation, tech fest, college fest happens once in a year.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Yes, its compulsory for all. even the day scholars used to have one. It depends on you whether you want to stay there or not but you still have to pay the full amount. In 4th year you get single room and rest year sharing.

Alumni/Alumna

yes, we have NITALUMN network and they organize events abroad and in metro cities. We also visit the college

Admission

I got admission through JEE Mains advance. My rank was below 25k. You have to fill online forms and based on your rank and choices they offered a sit, then you have to accept the sit and deposit a small amount to lock the sit. this all happen around June starting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.
