Remarks

The pros about our college were we had the opportunity to explore ourselves and the cons about our college is the quality of the staff members. we had staff for our class, who had just passed the college the year before.

Entrance Preview

Anna university entrance exam and aslo i had a small one to one interview in my college for my admission. I always wanted to join engineering from school days.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum was easier in the first year as it was an upgraded version of my higher secondary education. But the second is the real year in which we entered to the main stream subjects and there came a challenge. the third year, the curriculum was easier as I managed to cope up quickly.

Internships Opportunities

Actually no companies have come to my college for internship. But we students have applied to different companies and got selected by Lenevo India Private Limited, Pondicherry, Tamil nadu, India. % students from my department went to the internship in our third year(2008).

Placement Experience

0.5

The placement and job opportunities in my college has been yet to start. no companies have come to our campus but we students went to off campus interview's on our own in the final year.

College Events

0.5

We had a sports day and annual day celebration every year in the college. and we do had seminars for the students. Symposium were conducted in all the year where all the other colleges have participated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When compared to the other colleges when i was studying (2005-2009), i felt my college fee structure was very feasible. But for my immediate junior's batch the fee structure was hiked, which was an unfair act I personally felt.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as i know there was no scholarships have been given from my college. but students have taken loans from bank which the government has given them the helping hand.

Campus Life

2.5

The campus life was very good with reference to my friends and when comes with staffs we here and there had conflicts with them and even with the management. no extra curricular activities were appreciated. we had sports day and culturals for the name sake.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I was a regular student so i don know much about the hostel facilities. but I do go to the mess for my lunch, and i would say the food was not pretty much appreciated but a manageable one to fill our stomach during lunch.

Alumni/Alumna

They were good with the students in the colleges regardless the department or the year in which the student belongs to my senior students were helpful to a particular extent. Even though they raged us in the beginning but they were very nice and gentle with us later.

Exam Structure

Apart from the seminar exam conducted by the university, we had Cyclic assessment test, model test for all the semester for all the subjects. whose marks will be considered for the internals for the semester exam results.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty in my college were very helpful and was ready to help us any time without any hesitations. From lectures to practical labs they put their hard work to help us get the knowledge completely. but i felt that they would have used different strategies to teach, which would have lessen their struggle in teaching us :)

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
