Entrance Preview

My passion for this course made me to study mechanical engineering. Didn't write any entrance test I joined this college on 2010 by management quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

It was bit tough during second semester then I cope up with the it. There was 3 internals and one semester exam. The electives I took were renewable energy and in my department finite system analysis.

Internships Opportunities

Many software companies came like Honeywell TCS. Honeywell gave 1year training with stipend of 18000rs. TCS also provided 1yr training. No core companies offered internship to my batch. It was sad though.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement in my batch 2014 passed out was 60% it was low compared to previous year. Software companies came but my core companies disappointed much.

College Events

1

Many cultural festivals were conducted in my college. And I'm proud to say that mostly mechanical department gets first prize be it any event. Techutsavs were conducted related to academics and fun events were conducted.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarship were given to below poverty people and first graduates. I did not avail any scholarship. Education loans also were given to those who needed.

Alumni/Alumna

Our alumni is connected by Facebook group to every students. Present students can get help from us whenever needed. During placements it will be of much help.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was easy though. Best of two internals helped students much. Even if we failed in any one internals we can cope up with other two.

Faculty

2

Most faculty were student friendly. In my department all faculties were sirs and one madam alone in my department. All faculties were knowledge equipped and they provided useful knowledge to students.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
