Course Curriculum Overview
Rigorous &practical by means of projects. Need to be technologically very adept. Laptops are compulsory in the entire course and all projects are mostly online submissions. There is no fixed time for submission, you could also be asked to make your submission by 11 pm.
Placement Experience
Placements are good and many top employers of Bangalore come the college scouting for talent. Companies such as Goldman Sach, Capgemini, Genpact etc are know to recruit.
College Events
A range of fests inter&intra as well. They consist of various clubs that one has to choose in the first year. A student can choose 2 clubs of their choice. clubs vary from dance, singing, theatre, debating etc. There is also a disciplinary committee that you can join which has its task cut out during various events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course is a bit expensive &besides this you need to pay separately for exams. Also during the course of the year you will be asked to pay for something or the other as contributions. Fee payments are before the start of the academic session i. e in March. Payments are only in form of bank transfers.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not opt for any educational loan but there are many students who have done so. I saw many of my classmates availing this facility but don't have much idea about the same.
Campus Life
There is a healthy ratio if boys&girls There is no ragging whatsoever. All extracurriculars are after college hours. Attendance is a core issue in this college. A student will be debarred from writing exam if he/she does not gave atleast 85%attendance. Political affiliations are strictly frowned upon.
Hostel Facilities
No, only boys hostel is available with limited seats. But there are plenty of hostels available around the college with good facilities. Most of the students move out of college hostels due to timings. The hostels around the college have arrangements for food also.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are very helpful in the entire experience in college. The alumni in this college are very active.
Admission
A tough entrance &an equally tough interview. Admission in the college is based mostly on how you perform in the interview. Good marks do not guarantee you a seat. Confidence¬ overconfidence plays a important part in the selection process. The exam is an all India exam conducted in various centres. Results are published online in about 2-3 days which is followed by the interviews.
Faculty
Very helpful & knowledgeable. Always available to the students if they need extra guidance or on call too. A counselling facility is also available if the students feel the stress of college life or have difficulty in adjustment to the new environment.
