Our college provides internship facilities. The placement cell of our college helps us a lot in facing the challenging job market They also arranges part time job for economically weak and freshers students. Many companies visit our college every year. The average minimum package was around 2.5 lakh annually and the maximum salary package was around 6.5 lakh annually.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was not at all expensive. The total fees of entire course was around 60000 rupees. We paid around 20000 rupees annually. My hostel fees was not included in the total fees. We have to pay our hostel fees on monthly basis.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarship facility to its students. The scholarship is known as 'Sarah Student Aid cum Charity Scholarship'. There are many other scholarships provided by the college are Labour scholarship, Teachers children scholarship, National Merit Government of Indian Scholarship, The Tamil Nadu Trust Scholarship etc

Campus Life

Many extracurricular activities are organized in our college. Activities like Essay writing, Drawing and painting, observation of NSS Day, games and sports, social service like distribution of clothes among poor villagers, annual function etc

Admission

I got admission in this college on basis of marks obtained in the higher secondary examination. The students should complete their 12th standard examination with science stream from a recognised board or institute are eligible to get admission.

Faculty

The faculty of our college are very approaching and helpful. Teachers are very calm and patient. Their communication skills was very good. They provide students with good knowledge which helps us a lot in our future development.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Likes

The gender ratio is fairly close to 1:1 and it provides a proper environment for all to collaborate and interact.
Most of the faculty members are reachable.
Students usually get free by 4PM and have the remainder of the day to explore their own things.

Dislikes

More academics oriented - no room for placements on campus as such.
Unable to choose electives - have to do whatever course is available.
Infrastructurally very basic - lacks a lot of facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Our College is furnished with all the educational facilities such as big spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, a library with abundant books, and well-maintained laboratories with the latest high-tech equipment. And yes, a free WiFi facility is also provided in our college. Must have qualified higher secondary with a good percentage (above 70 percentage). We found our application through our college website. Students can fill out their forms and submit them on our website and make online payments. Then our college staff contacted us. Our college helps students come out of their shells and convert their weaknesses into their strengths. Campus life is beyond the infrastructural and academic training programs. It enriches students with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live through experiences that otherwise are earned very hard.
