Course Curriculum Overview

The M. Tech course was a two years course. The curriculum was very good and interesting. The curriculum includes the study of food processing, machinery, packaging, ingredient manufacturing, instrumentation and control. There was both theory and practical papers in the curriculum. The exam structure was also good in our university. The university conducts its final examination at the end of each semester.

Companies like Vijaya Bank, Core Green Sugar Limited, HDFC, Aries Agro Limited, Mangalore chemical and Fertilizers limited etc come to our college for campus recruitment. The companies offered a minimum salary package of 3 lakh per annum and a maximum salary package of 6.5 lakh annually.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees of the two years course was around 42000 rupees. In the first year, i paid around 22000 rupees and in the second year i paid around 20000 rupees. The fees was very much feasible and i was very happy with my fees.

Campus Life

The university gives many opportunity to its students by organizing extracurricular activities. Activities like games and sports, cultural activities, literary activities, social activities etc are organized. These activities are very good to develop our personalities and talents.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of our university are very good and helpful. Besides studies, they also try to help us to solve us in many of the problems related to the university . We have very good relation with our seniors. The alumni network of our university are very large. The alumni association of our university conducts alumni meet every year. In the alumni meet, ex- students and the present students meet with each other and build a very good relation.

Admission

Admission in this university was based on marks obtained in the Bachelor degree. After qualifying my graduation with very good marks, i took admission in this course. Students should have obtained minimum 55 percent of marks in B. SC or any engineering discipline from a recognised university are eligible to get admission in this course. For SC /ST students there was 5 relaxation of marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For jobs, it prepares you very well. You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. If your goal is a PhD or pure research, though, it leans a bit too practical and corporate rather than deeply academic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.
