Remarks
Well overall I will not suggest to join this college since it's also a university that's binds with it and the university is really pathetic in terms of declaring results and checking of the answer-sheets. University needs lots of improvement and standards of the education has to be raised when comparing to other IIT's, NIT's and other private colleges.
Entrance Preview
Rajasthan pre-engineering test (RPET), RPET Rank: 337I opted this since it's govt institutes and comes under Top 3 colleges in RPET at that time. Since it has reputation of a good government college and a big campus and renowned status with a good base of alumni network all over the India.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was fine and faculty was experienced, generally PHD, but they were not helpful and not willing to impart the knowledge to students. Since they are in the govt. sector as usual. But ya standards and knowledge of the faculties is very good faculties generally don't helps us in the labs too.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided by the college to only 30-40 % of the students in various companies but with no stipend. We need to fill up the forms in the third year for the internship to companies we want to to do our internship and according to our percentage and score we are alottes the company for internship or otherwise we have to make our own arrangements for the training/intenship.
Placement Experience
Generally Software companies came for the placements like Infosys, TCS for my branch but yes the placements is good for Civil Branch. Companies for other branches like Honda Cars, L& T, Ashiana Housing, Tega Industries Ltd., DCM etc come regularly. Overall the placements on an average is about 40-45%.
College Events
Every year there is our annual function is being held called as anukriti and it's a biggest in our city in all the engineering colleges. From cultural activities, games sports activities, social activities, and various other technical and non technical activities goes on for a week. This fest generally held in Jan/feb every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
No as such scholarships/loans available scholarships available for poor sc/st category students whose family income is low. But during the cultural fest event i.e Anukriti all the toppers of all the braches are being awarded with a medal and a certificate.
Campus Life
Campus life is not at all good if you are dreaming of spending your four years as your dream college. Gender ratios is about boys to girls is 6:1. There is only event i.e Anukriti except that no extracurricular. Labs are ok we have sports ground for Football, Hockey, Cricket and a decent gym and to mention a good library and book bank.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are like other government hostels but in our college the standard is very low but accommodation wise it is easily available first year it is triple sharing then single sharing from next year onwards. Bathrooms are very unhygienic mess food is very unhygienic and there was no improvements even after complaining again and again to the warden.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is good because of the quality of students passing out from our college. My seniors were very helpful in my studies or any other activities and alumni is always available for any help whenever I need any help from anyone ya samadeep singh is alumni he is very helpful whenever I need any help he has always helped me.
