Entrance Preview

IIT JEE, BITSAT, AIEEEI chose this college as I was not getting good colleges from any of the above-mentioned exams.

Internships Opportunities

Many companies came to offer internships in our college like Flipkart, PayPal, Microsoft, CISCO, and many more. The general stipend offered was Rs 20000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are provided by the college. One of the scholarships is provided at the time of admission on the basis of the rank in the entrance exam. Other scholarships include the Star Student Scholarship, VITAA Scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good. there are many things to do as there are many clubs and chapters available in the college and many events are conducted by these clubs regularly.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni network is very good and senior students are also very good and they are very helping and they are ready to help us. Most of the decisions I take are based on the advice provided by them.

Exam Structure

Exams are frequent. We have two sessionals known as CAT and one final assessment every semester. Lab exams are also held three times. Sometimes it feels like chilling out but during the end of the semester, it feels very hectic.

Some of the faculty members are very good and they have very good knowledge but some are even worse. Some don't know the basic concepts of programming languages even.

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Calm and Student-Friendly at DMI College of Engineering

Likes

The college provides a friendly and supportive learning environment.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
