Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good, I am a computer science student. The whole program is divided into 4 categories university core, program core, university elective, and program elective. we need to complete 187 credits.

Internships Opportunities

VIT University offered an internship to the non-Vitian, and an internship basically a research-based internship. Vitian is not allowed for the internship, and the stipend totally depends on performance.

Placement Experience

Almost more than 350 companies visit VIT every year. Which result in 100 percent job opportunities, more than 7000 offers given by TCS, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, cognizant.

College Events

There are many events celebrated but Rivera and gravitas are the two main events. Rivera every year in the first week of February consider as the international festival of VIT and gravitas consider as the international technical festival of VIT.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive, it depends on the course type branch. For CSE students the fee is approx 150000 and other expenses like room, mess, etc which add up to 250000.

Fees and Financial Aid

VIT offered a scholarship for those who get under 100 rank in VITEEE, and those who are the first ranker in 12 board or those who are not financially stable.

Exam Structure

In every semester there are two continuous assessment tests called CAT1 and CAT2 three quizzes and assignments and finally FAT(final assessment test).

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

The college provides a friendly and supportive learning environment.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

It's like Schools .There will be special class if you didn't get much marks like schools .

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
