Course Curriculum Overview

B.Sc honours Horticulture is a four year under graduate course. The subjects in the course includes Horticulture, Soil Science, Microbiology, Entomology, Biotechnology etc. The course also includes good practical application of the subjects taught.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of our college held on campus placement drives for the fourth year students every year. These were very successful s many of the students got good jobs even before graduating the course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college tuition fees is 9,300 rupees for the first year and 4,600 rupees for the consecutive three years of the course which makes the total tuition fee 23,100 rupees. The amount is pretty feasible and can easily be afforded by the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Meritorious Scholarships of 3,000 rupees are available to the eligible students by the central government. However other students can also apply for loans at their personal banks that are easily pushed forward by the college administration.

Campus Life

Many extracurricular activities are viable on campus. There are also many events for the students to take part in that include sports, cultural and religious events. Cultural and ethnic diversity is no cause of concern among the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are provided to the students on campus which is very accommodating. The hostel fee is 5,600 rupees including all expenses. The hostels are separate for boys and girls. Te rooms are spacious and clean and the mess food is hygienic.

Admission

I had written the entrance exam which was mandatory for this course that is AIEEA which is conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. After clearing the exam with good grade I applied to this college and was contacted by the college administration for further process.

The faculty comprises of many well educated scholars who possess good experience in the teaching field. They focus on their subjects very well and make sure all the concepts are clear. They also train us with practical knowledge.

My overall Journey

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

My college life was a rollar coaster comedy life.

Likes

The first aspect of the college that I would like to appreciate was the class size but apart from that the infrastructure like class bench were not in proper condition which truly need to be in concern like many sideways.
The learning facility of the college like in terms of infrastructure and and the resources were really good and faculty where also the supporting too much.
The effectiveness of placement services and the support provided for career advice advancement I would like to say most of the student where Got placed in very reputable position in company which you can also locate them on LinkedIn ID they are .

Dislikes

The first thing that I don't like about the colleges the they say that there is 100% placement which is completely not whether it is our college or other College it's never up to the mark.
Second thing I didn't dislike about the colleges that the mindset of student they were it's okay that they were competitive but like they were the kind of leg pulling person throughout the semester they didn't like to see somebody gaining more.

Placement Experience:

Speaking about the campus placement and internship opportunity the company visit for this college campus where not so good like they were decent labeled but not that high profile company apart from this the college also provided internship for deserving candidate where applying and most not always getting but let me tell you you have to also work hard no college used to give complete internship and placement either it's our college or you can take another college also the same condition so if you are thinking guaranteed internship and college placement so I would like to recommend work hard, if you literally want on campus placement. Don't get this pointed if you are not getting placement from college you can apply for self help also as it is a digital AI and lots of job companies like LinkedIn and reputable websites are also there to apply for just I would like to say build your skill ,upskill yourself throughout the college semester period workout also on your psychic like body posture and good looking and personality developing developing which is most important criteria plus charm in the job purpose and you will give a good status.

Likes

Infrastructure and college staff support

there are only practical are helde but I haven't joined any of the curriculum activity and there are only classes Ihave attended so there no expriance of the curriculum and for the difficulty level I haven't found any issue

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

There is so much happening in college that it gets a little bit confusing sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because its really a noble profession and I would like to contribute by best into this course. The curriculum preparess me for the real world applications really well especially moot courts. The teaching methods of the teachers are really fun and engaging they interact with the whole class. Makes it easy to understand the subject. No improvemnets needed right now. The exams are of moderate level and of 2hrs max internals and helps in improving.

Professer behavior is very cool and good
Classes is conducted in normal class in which some classes have A.C while some not
Campus area is so big in which staff parking and student parking is separtely available

Dislikes

College time is bad . It is same as school timing
Student must maintain 75% attendence to avoid detention in CIA
It does not give a proper break after semester exam

Placement Experience:

The placement is average as same as other college . It provide 6-12 LPA package for who have skills as market required The placement criteria for student is above 8 CGP and no backlogs in all semester My plans after getting the degree is to join a good company for a good life The percentage of getting placements is above 80%

Amazing college!

Admission:

To get admission, I had to first fill application form and then pay a small fee for applying to the college, then after submitting the marks scored in 10+2, students were called for a campus interview upon which the students were selected.

I choose this college because it's a central university and I thought it would be better to graduate from a central university rather than any other state university. I opted many agricultural colleges and got nominated for this college at first round of councilling . I freeze it at sight . I didn't get rejected from any college.
