Course Curriculum Overview

The length of this course is 3 years and helps in understanding about Mathematics and the concepts. The course provides in-depth knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, calculus and other theories to the students and helps students to use logical ways to formulate theories and apply the same to solve problems.

Placement Experience

The placements and internships are offered in great number. Various reputed companies like Microsoft, Directi, IBM Research lab, Goldman Sachs, Myntra Samsung Research Lab, TCS , ICICI bank, American Express, Deloitte, OYO Rooms and many others have recruited students in large numbers. The average salary package offered was INR 15-19 LPA. Employment opportunities are great. Companies also visit to offer internships. Students from our batvh are working as Mathematician, Data Analyst, Numerical Analyst, Cryptanalyst etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There were no fee charges. On the top we were given stipend. It was INR 5000 for UG courses, INR 7000 for PG courses. JRFs varied in between INR 17-25k for research students. These motivated the students to perform mch better in academics.

Campus Life

Campus life is good. cultural events or activities usually take place . Seminars, entrepreneurship sessions, workshops, debates are mostly conducted. Freshers and farewell is organised by every department.

Admission

You will selected for this institute on the basis of entrance exam and interview. You have to apply for this institute online by fulfilling the eligibility criteria. Read the instructions carefully. Upload the scanned documents and signature as well. You will also have to pay application fee which is Rs.1,250 for general categories and Rs.625 for SC/ST.

The faculty of our department had Clarity in basic concepts and willingness to share their knowledge. They had a good command over language and were humble. They used to treat learners with love and kindness.

Faculty is serious and everything happens on time with proper functioning.
I liked the food of my hostel Raman abas that's unique because hostel generally provide average food.
I liked my batchmates, seniors and my hostel mates. They're just love.

Dislikes

The hostel and faculty infrastructure is very old need replacement asap.
Rural location of colleges so urban access of blinkit,zomato etc is unavailable.
Placement numbers here is too short university need to work on that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable after class for doubts and guidance, which helps a lot during exams.
The college has a disciplined academic environment with regular classes and practical sessions. Laboratories are functional and help students understand concepts through hands-on learning.
The campus environment is calm and student-friendly. Various seminars, cultural programs, and academic activities help in overall personality development.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and internship guidance are minimal, which could be improved to make students more job-ready after graduation.
Infrastructure can be improved, especially classrooms and laboratory equipment. Some facilities feel outdated and require modernization.
Placement opportunities for BSc students are limited. The college focuses more on academics, so students need to prepare for higher studies or competitive exams on their own.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

I like the campus , it is quite huge and green , the canteen has both cooked and packed food available, a seperate common room for students and many sports equipment available. Several functions are arranged along with international conferences held
All the faculty members are soft spoken , knowledgeable and friendly, it is easy to find help regarding anything.
Professors are strict about their syllabus and subjects , paying proper attention to the students. Practicals classes are conducted without fail.

Dislikes

There is nothing as such that I disliked because I am a first year student so I haven't been so much involved yet , I think that the washrooms should be cleaned properly to maintain the hygiene apart from thjs everything is fine.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Subjects offered in the college as well as the minor and idc subjects are well adhered to the curriculum and future aspects. The subject combinations are apt and futuristic. It moderately prepares one for real world situations.

after 6th sem those students who scored above 7 CGPA are eligible for campus placements. name of companies- TCS,Campgemini,Accenture,Delloite etc. average package -320000 70 percent most of students got placed. I want to job at IT sector after getting the degree.

Dislikes

Distant from kolkata, hence missed out a few opportunities.
Work load during internship is too much, no time to sleep propelry during the heavy subjects.

Placement Experience:

You can start practicing as an independent doctor only after completing internship, and getting registered to a council. During internship you get paid >31k/m The college provides housestaffship to students according to their ranks in academics, @monthly pay of 50k/m After the degree one can go for private practice, or for government MO jobs, or prepare for NEET PG for further studies.

Faculties are awesome, as they help us in anything even not related to study .
Many chances to learn. We have hospital visits too.
There are fests and sports, so can embrace our that side too.

Dislikes

Books are pricy a bit, but we need them for knowledge.
Triple sharing room which creates a mess sometimes.
Nothing else I can find which needs improvement

After 9th sem No companies . We just appear for neet pg exam if neet pg cleared - 70000 If not cleared - 50000 neet pg percentage will be nearly 4 in 100 housestaff will be 20 in 100 I will try INICET

Pros and cons of ISI

I also applied to other colleges in engineering through jee mains but couldn't get the cut-off marks cleared . The admission process of ISI is through ISI admission test .this test has great toughness and only tastes mathematics of 10+2 level. A brief discussion on ISI, Kolkata

Reason for preferring this college over others: I wished to study statistics and Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is considered to be one of the best institutes in India to study mathematics and statistics. That is why I decided to take admission here. Admission process:(I) The written exam includes an objective paper(UGA) containing 30 questions and a subjective paper(UGB) containing 8 questions. If a student scores above the cut off marks in UGA (which varies from year to year but is typically between 65 to 80 out of 120) then his/her solutions for UGB will be checked. (II) Suppose the student got x in UGA and y in UGB. If ax+by(where a and b(a<b) are specified but varies year to year) is greater than a specified cutoff, then he/she will be selected for interview. (III) If the student scores z in the interview and his/her total score ax+by+cz(c will be specified but is usually greater than a+b) is above a certain cutoff then his/her name will be published in the merit list. However, the final selection and admission will take place according to the rank on the merit list.Good aspects: The professors have clear and in-depth knowledge of the subject and they teach based on their research experience. Huge emphasis is given in the understanding of the basic concepts. Amazing collection of books and journals in the library.
