Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite adaptable to us. We are able to understand the things they teach. Also, the laboratories have all the required equipment that are needed to execute the classes. The exam structure is again, quite decent.
Placement Experience
The college is known to have an association with famous names for placements. I have seen the students getting placed in renowned organizations with decent packages. They also organize activities so that students would the future opportunities in their field.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The entire two fee structure for the M.Sc biotechnology course is 5,756 INR. This includes semester fees, tuition, fees within it. The amount is feasible for me and I did not have to face any problem as such while paying for it.
Campus Life
The university keeps organizing programs and events like sports. There have been numerous workshops and I have been a part of many of it. Throughout my course, I have not seen differentiation on the basis of any sex, religion, caste, race, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
All senior students are helpful and polite in nature. They have helped me understand the rules and regulations of the college. The seniors of my department have enlightened me with future opportunities once I pass my master's degree course.
Admission
For admission I had to give a written test and then a viva. All of these were conducted by the University itself. Although, only 40% are for the universities other than their own, I was able to clear all the rounds and enter the course.
Faculty
All the members of the faculty, be it professors or lab assistants are extremely promising and supportive. In addition to that, the guest faculty are also quite motivating to the students. I am able to understand all the lectures organized by them.

Placement Experience
The placement cell of my college is very strong. From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are around 50 companies visited in the college such as TCS, Intel. Microsft. Deloitte, etc.205 students are placed in TCS in the year 2019. 415 students are placed in campus placement last year. Maximum CTC was 25 lacs/pa and average CTC was 5.5 lacs/pa the previous year.After Jadavpur University, the average CTC of the college is higher than IEM. Above 95% placements for IT, CSE, and ECE students. There are around 55-60% placements in another department. My plans are to do some great things after getting the degree.

In the final year, companies start recruiting students. There are many companies recruiting students every year with a minimum package per year to be 5 lacs and a maximum to be 20 lacs. Around 80 percent of students get placed every year. And my plan after getting the degree is I would go for further studies.

Their is 0lacement for my department any many companies for our department of computer science comes for interviewing the student of third year and plus give some advice to 1st and 2nd year too that what to do for future.
Admission
The best part about this college is that the if any student has to take admission in this college is then they simply have to submit the college form along with the marksheet and if qualified, then the admission letter is released.

Placements are not that great but as many students want to gain experience in professional career then they sit for the recruitment process and can take up the roles which are offered by the companies, the salary is not that fancy but manageable.

My plan is to give entrance exams like jak, jest, tifr. Mainly my motive is to pursue msc in iit or iisc.
Remarks
My college is one of the best in Kolkata zone. Every year many students pass out with a good degree. Many students passed out from our university are now highly paid successful artist in film industry. Some are famous musicians, vocalist and national level dancers. Some are renowned cinematographer or film director, famous contemporary artists, sculptors and graphic designers. Many are famous and well respected professors, economists and many more.
Remarks
This college is good but has many loopholes in the management. Firstly classes are not taken regularly by the professors. You have to complete your syllabus on your own don't remain depending on the professors they gonna just discharge their duty. Basically in the morning section teachers never come properly. Also, the hipe that Goenka provides very good placement is also not true to that extent its just average or so before getting into the college think twice.
Remarks
I love my college.but sometimes many rules that are made by college are too much as we are students and we have a self study time for minimum 5 hours.but our college starts from 9.30 am to 5 pm .this is so annoying and we have to pay fine if we reach late to college
Admission
By WBJEE or AIEEE exam you have got a rank for admission in this college.There are 3 concealing process by the wbjee rank card. Then you have to varify your document in reporting centre , after that you go to the college for the admission.
Placement Experience
There are so many opportunities in job from our college 100% placement in government and also private sector job ex-cipla ,sunpharma, gsk, mankind. Dpharmacy course have 3 years internship and B.pharm course have 1 month internship in hospital as pharmacist.
Remarks
Very strict rules. They can't deal with any type of bad behaviour from 1st to last year they similarly maintained their own system as well as they can.if any students or teacher treated badly are rusticated.
