Remarks

I got selected to this college through Pmsss which is a scholarship provided by GOI to students of J ND K. The thing I like about this college was it was at a environmental friendly area.I opted the course of civil enginnering because in the modern world civil engineering is having a tremendous scope.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curiculum is up to date.Almst80% of the syallybus gets completed on time.Regarding industrial exposure it was also good.We went to several infustries to get in depth knowledge.faculties are also good particularly our HOD CIVIL DR.NAGESH

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 64000 per year

Placement Experience

Only few companies visit to college for campus placement that too in only computer science nd electronics branch. The placement process is not too good as their is no placement department in the college as it is Govt. Institution bt teachers hlp out by providing their refrences to various companies.

College Events

Campus life events was good bt for the students who were locals of karnataka not for the students who were non locals because the festival which the college organized used to be in their native language i,e; Kannada.

Campus Life

The infrastructure in the campus was not too good bt they are now updating the infrastructure of the college. There are least sports facilities nd least sports events in the college as there is no proper ground for the sports activities in the college. Library is having the books which we require bt in a small quantity

Hostel Facilities

I didnt opted for hostel.I hv a flat of 2bhk whose monthly rent is 6500 excluding electricity nd water bills. It is easy fr the students of karnataka to get the hostel facility.nd non karantak's did not opt for hostel because of the south indian food provided in the hostels

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

In our college placement training will be started from first semester only ..by 5th or 6th semester we can attend the campus selection So many companies are visited namely Infosys, wipro, accenture etc 12lahk will be highest i think also i dont know exactly and average will be 3.5lakh per year 70% of the students get placed by full filling the interviewers needs Im preparing for the civil services

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

Never give up

The admission process of my college is based on acpc. I think this 4 round is better enough for those who didn't get admission by the main exam we can get admission by entrance exams like GUJCET, JEE, NEET, etc. I also get some entrance exams like GUJCET, and JEE this is the best chance to show yourself and get admission in the best colleges. Your admission is dependent on your acpc cut-off and also depends on your department. For talking about the 2023 year computer department cutoff is higher than in others their seats are full at some minor times and in our college this year many departments have full seats like computer, electronic and communication, and electrical.
