Remarks

I heard about this college from my seniors and their reviews were good enough. The atmosphere of this college is very good and provoking. All the facilities are good. I have very much interest in CS which lead me to opt for this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually i had a lot of interest in CS so i am enjoying this course very much. It is perfect for those who get attracted by technology and stuff. This course include software coding, microprocessor coding and little hardware part too. All the facilities are very good. Most of them are very friendly. Overall teaching quality is excellent. The college doesn't provide enough industrial exposure. You need to grab some internship for the same.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 2100000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good here. Earlier companies used to mass recruite students but now that practice is vanishing. Good companies come and recruite decent number of students. Some common recruiters are LnT, amazon,TCS.

College Events

Campus life is awesome. Canteen is good were friends can usually hangout. There are two major fests of college named hysteria and colosseum.hysteria is cultural fest and colosseum is technical fest. Lots of fun events, talks and competitions take place during these fests. It's a lot of fun. And also if you are a part of any club then you get a chance to to organise some of these events

Campus Life

The campus is quite big and spacious. There is a big football ground in the middle of college. It is the second biggest in mumbai( first is somaiya). Besides it there is a basketball ground too and a top court where usually peeps play cricket. Campus has a lot of trees everywhere so the atmosphere is fresh and pollution free. There is library which is quite big and well maintained. And lots of other departmental labs like chemistry lab, physics lab, mechatronics lab, etc.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

Dislikes

The cordination given by management of college, They were so rude all the time idk y

Course Curriculum Overview:

Literature gave me insights to the history and a different pov on the situations happened Literature sharpens the thought process we can have in real world scenarios which are quite unique tbh. Its just too much of theory, if could update it and make it somehow relavent to today situation, it would be fun learning it

COLLEGE REVIEW OF IBSAR BELAPUR

Likes

The good thing about this college is affordability and how quick the admission process is.
Teachers are friendly too, there is no mandatory attendance rule and the lecs are conducted three days a week for mca students which gives them the freedom to work or switch between lecs and personal things
The feedbacks of students are taken seriously and the staff is changed accordingly. Students can freely talk to faculty about the performance of teachers and quality of education.

Dislikes

There is no campus in this college which limits student activities for events or other things.since the lecs are not conducted daily or as like other colleges , very less class count is there which affects the interactivity as well.
The quality of infrastructure is not quite good as the college is there in two floors of the building only. Campus amenities are average as well. There aren't much opportunities as such in this college like industrial level or any.
If anyone wants to experience and actually college life with the whole campus experience, events , activities or other things ,this college isn't a good fit

Placement Experience:

During the admission the students are told that in semester four , just students are eligible for campus placements and some of the companies come for a placements and even the undergraduate students are placed . The name of the companies that come for the placement include Vector ,HDFC Bank etc but in admission pamplets huge company names are provided like infosys, wipro, etc. the average packages are 300000 -500000 per year. The cgpa of students should be higher than 7. I am planning for an on campus as well as off campus placements.

The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Yes, in that cut-off, getting admission is tough but cometh the hour, cometh the man is what DBIT believe in. Just 20% seats for minorities and thats a good thing as one gets fair chance for admission here....Read More
