Remarks

It is a very renowned institution and a renowned institution can help you grow your skills in every possible manner required. It was not my dream college but due to the lack of good percentage i drove myself to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's quite a good course but being a Xaverian always felt like they are too much restricted. Xavier's as in give us placement opportunities but never had given us industry exposures. They believe more in classroom teaching then visiting any Industry and giving us a live example.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities and good. Various companies come for job placement. There is this startup named Wow momo. They just provide the varieties of momos and noodles etc. There's one more startup name Infokola which helps people gives insight about the various startups and all.

My campus life is blessing for me. Being a part of SXCNCC has given me a lot of exposure. Now I can see the creative mind in myself. I had participated in many activities in my college. And if you want to learn something then you must participate in those activities regularly.

Campus Life

Library of Xavier's is like a paradise and it's infrastructure is also good. I have never used the Wi-Fi connection of my college and what I think is Xavier's sports facilities are too good like if you are a sports freak then you must join the sports team.

Hostel Facilities

I am living in a PG nearby my college itself. The food of pg is average. It's a veg and marwadi pg owned by a Gujarati. The rental payment of my PG is ?13000 excluding the amt. of AC bills. It is full furnished. There are four seaters and 2 seater room only.

Faculty is serious and everything happens on time with proper functioning.
I liked the food of my hostel Raman abas that's unique because hostel generally provide average food.
I liked my batchmates, seniors and my hostel mates. They're just love.

Dislikes

The hostel and faculty infrastructure is very old need replacement asap.
Rural location of colleges so urban access of blinkit,zomato etc is unavailable.
Placement numbers here is too short university need to work on that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, I was preparing for neet but after neet i was very clear that i want to do this(Agriculture). Practical cum theory approach here will make you a awared man in this field. Placements and Governments seats after UG is very competitive although. In upcoming future everyone will going to focus on larger production in limited land/cultivation area so Agriculture will be needed today and tomorrow.

My Experience at Jaipuria to summed it up.

Likes

Quality education and an academically enriching environment. Most importantly, well- versed professors.
Extra- curriculum activities, along with an active sports cell and NCC, and usually various opportunities to participate in Inter-College Competitions.
Well maintained gym with separate timings for girls and boys. The canteen offers a wide variety of foods at an affordable price.

Dislikes

For my department, there was no educational excursion.
Negligence internship opportunities are available for my course.
Only some placement opportunities are available, and companies like TCS and Wipro came up for campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My passion and a bit of curiosity in International Relations led me to choose this course. The curriculum, in fact, prepared me well for further academic pursuits. For improvement, educational excursions and internship opportunities should be made available. The exam is held twice a year on semester basis, with papers set at a moderate to difficult level.

Likes

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable after class for doubts and guidance, which helps a lot during exams.
The college has a disciplined academic environment with regular classes and practical sessions. Laboratories are functional and help students understand concepts through hands-on learning.
The campus environment is calm and student-friendly. Various seminars, cultural programs, and academic activities help in overall personality development.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and internship guidance are minimal, which could be improved to make students more job-ready after graduation.
Infrastructure can be improved, especially classrooms and laboratory equipment. Some facilities feel outdated and require modernization.
Placement opportunities for BSc students are limited. The college focuses more on academics, so students need to prepare for higher studies or competitive exams on their own.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

A balanced view of campus life and learning

Likes

The English department has experienced and supportive teachers. Most professors explain concepts clearly and encourage discussions, close reading and critical thinking.
The course is very affordable, especially compared to private colleges. With scholarships, it becomes accessible for students from middle and lower income backgrounds.
The college has a friendly and diverse student crowd. The girls to boys ratio is balanced with slightly more female students, which creates a comfortable learning atmosphere.

Dislikes

The infrastructure needs improvement. Classrooms and common areas could be better maintained and modern facilities are limited.
There are very few placement opportunities for arts students.
Although some academic events take place, extracurricular activities and active student societies could be improved for better campus life.

Placement Experience:

There are limited on campus placement opportunities here, especially for Arts and Eng Hons students. Most students focus on higher studies, competitive exams or off campus opportunities after graduation. The college provides basic guidance through teachers but formal placement drives are rare.

after 6th sem those students who scored above 7 CGPA are eligible for campus placements. name of companies- TCS,Campgemini,Accenture,Delloite etc. average package -320000 70 percent most of students got placed. I want to job at IT sector after getting the degree.

Plenty of patient variety for better clinical exposure

Dislikes

Distant from kolkata, hence missed out a few opportunities.
Work load during internship is too much, no time to sleep propelry during the heavy subjects.

Placement Experience:

You can start practicing as an independent doctor only after completing internship, and getting registered to a council. During internship you get paid >31k/m The college provides housestaffship to students according to their ranks in academics, @monthly pay of 50k/m After the degree one can go for private practice, or for government MO jobs, or prepare for NEET PG for further studies.

Faculties are awesome, as they help us in anything even not related to study .
Many chances to learn. We have hospital visits too.
There are fests and sports, so can embrace our that side too.

Dislikes

Books are pricy a bit, but we need them for knowledge.
Triple sharing room which creates a mess sometimes.
Nothing else I can find which needs improvement

After 9th sem No companies . We just appear for neet pg exam if neet pg cleared - 70000 If not cleared - 50000 neet pg percentage will be nearly 4 in 100 housestaff will be 20 in 100 I will try INICET

Non-Teaching faculties are very bad . they don't work good.

1st year+ Registration Fees-6780 2nd , 3rd , 4th Year Fees- 3000/year Tution fees and all others fees are included in above fees. There is no scholarship from university but there is a wb state govt provided SVMCM scholarship. The Campus is fully green

I chose this college over other colleges due to its high reputation, especially regarding the B.Com course. The college also has a very prestigious range of alumni and good placement opportunities. St Xavier's College is the best

I would like to start with these college facilities: Faculties are well experienced and with good knowledge and have proper communication way. The infrastructure is of this college is the best I . Classrooms are equipped with AC in summer and are huge to prevent suffocating. Admission is a very easy process here with less paperwork, have to simply apply online or fill forms and each form costs 1000 (at my time). Have to carry results and certificates of other exams and the minimum marks are required to get selected. And thereafter give a written test on the campus and thereafter give an interview over there. If you will be qualified they may get in touch with you through mobile and email also. The forms are out in the month of June and the dates are fluctuating. Before taking admission I have done a lot of research through friends and have also seen its review on the website Collegedunia. These college facilities are good and the education provided is best.
