i chose mount carmel college because it provides quality education and no other college provides the combination of bachlors in commerce with international accounts and finance. this uniqueness was the reason i joined mcc

Course Curriculum Overview

the curriculum is the key points. they have designed the syllabus in such a way that we get adequate knowledge about Genral Accounting Accepted Principles and IFRS. i think ms. priyanka joe is really good at what she does.

the companies that visited mount carmel college in the past few years are google, the big four ( delloitte, pwc, ey) and banks like hdfc, icici and nestle. the alumni network isnt that great in providing job referrals

the college hosts and event called cul-ah which is also known as the queen fest of banglore where all degree level colleges are invited like sjcc cms christ and compete with eachother in 50 categories over three days. ounslaught crew is one of highlights of the event

Campus Life

the campus is loacted in the heart if banglore which has all the required facilities like canteen( okayish food) wi-fi (phones not allowed in classrooms) and lecture halls, church, hostel, well equipped classrooms

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The special Aspect was to do relevant things in curriculum that i influenced my decision to choose this course. They have preperes us in good manner for real world for compettions as well. The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

MCC - A college of Dreams

I applied in Christ University for a B.Sc. in Biotechnology but did not end up going to Christ when I heard about it's cons that it focuses more on its outer image rather than imparting quality knowledge.
