Remarks

I literally chose this course just because I want this college. But I'll never regret it. My course teaches how industry works, and which is required knowledge. About my course practical and the latest knowledge, industry visits are necessary. Events, fests are really nice and you should participate at least once. Connectivity is good as students from whole state and outside come here. Extra curricular activities helps student to find their hobbies and sometimes their future path too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are well qualified and possess great experience. Majority of them have doctorate degrees from reputed international and national institutes. Minor and Honor courses are designed to make students industry ready by providing added technical knowledge, coding, finance etc. Research oriented teaching is lacks in almost every stream.

Placement Experience

5

Around 90-95 % students in CS IT, ENTC streams get placed. Where as placements in other streams are relatively lower. The lowest placement is of B.Tech Planning, in which only 2 to 5 students got on campus placements last year in IT service based companies.

College Events

5

Extra curricular is best in this campus because you improve your qualities. In campus all are friends. All connected to each other. Technical hackathons are arranged. College holds first rank in festivals.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facilities are provided in the form of Education loan. We can avail Post matric scholarships as per the categories.

Campus Life

Though the college has a great legacy and even have separate departments for several streams. Our college provides spacious labs and classrooms. Labs are air-conditioned. The library is very good with good schemes and a good collection of education as well as non-education books. Our college also provides a gymkhana for students. Food served in the canteen is not all expensive.

Hostel Facilities

College of Engineering Pune has ten hostel buildings comprise of hostel office, security room, guest house of three rooms etc. All rooms are spacious and airy with internet connectivity. Separate dispensary block is also available within the hostel premises. For girls students, STD/ ISD facility is available nearby hostel block.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For first year you are supposed to take up internship from your own and for second year the college with place you somewhere so this is usually done to make you ready for real world. You also have internal tests along with assignments and with internship so sometimes it gets exhausting I feel this area should be improved.

KES Law College, Bachelor of Legal Science [B.L.S] + Bachelor of Law [L.L.B]
Reviewed on Apr 8, 2025(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

Reviewed on Oct 5, 2021(Enrolled 2017)

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.
