Remarks

Brand value is present for students doing a technical course in VIT, also the course is of 2 years in VIT compared to 3 years in government institutes and also the exposure was much higher. An added advantage was the location.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was updated to the recent trends of the IT industry. There was no industrial exposure as such, but many technical events used to happen in and around the college. The majority of the faculties are mediocre to good at best.

Class Size: 230Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

There are plenty of companies coming for the placements. A wide variety of profiles are offered. The placement process was smooth with the PAT committee being really helpful at times. In my batch of 230 students, around 200 students were placed.

College Events

There are plenty of events happening in college on a daily basis. There are many groups as such which the students can join. Also, one of the biggest cultural fests in the South is conducted at VIT, called Riviera.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of anyone having availed loan facilities as such to study at VIT. Maybe there are provisions for it for undergraduate students. but none was available for us, postgraduate students that I am aware of.

Campus Life

The campus was amazing. From a wonderful library to high-speed wi-fi, students have everything on the cusp of their hands. Also, the computer labs were relatively new, and there were no problems with systems.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are top-notch. Almost all the buildings are well looked after, and all the needed facilities are provided. And it is very easy to avail hostel facility, and there is plenty of options present.

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Like to study the subjects in a practical way as well as getting skillfull everyday
Liked the events and the participation of the students in every aspect of the event

The working hours in clinical area is way more high and not able to tolerate
The hostel rooms should be cleaned every week atleast
More restrictions for girls only and there is a partiality among the students in gender

The subjects are quite tough but can read and learn with a little bit more effort over those subjects and so the exam will be held for 3 hours continuously and the exam pattern in like semester type and so the course in more useful

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
